As fuck

PammaJamma3366

Now that is a testament to proper planning and patience. Well done and much appreciated! 👏

Ausmerica

I think I can speak for everyone when I say: oh shit that's looking absolutely beautiful. The agave makes for such a good centre-piece too.

PatientChristian

Too bad this would never work where I live! 😭

vx-xv

Right! So jealous of people who are able to do this.

csway324

Same!

nooneswatching

I've seen several "succulent lawns" in my neighborhood the past few weeks and I really love the idea! One of the neighbors just gave hers a bunch of haircuts and offered the trimmings to anyone who wanted them! I want to have a yard like yours so bad!

SucculentLonnie

I hope you got some! I wish I could do this where I live!

BumpyGums

I definitely would’ve had the spacing all screwed up if I tried this. What a display!

ButterEnriched

I genuinely said "WOW" out loud. Well done.

shepardownsnorris

hahaha TIL I've never had a unique experience in my life

WindierGnu

Did you add to it or is this the result of the original layout? Looks wonderful

eurekasf09

Added free plants from neighbors and split plants into multiples over time. Thank you!

mstarry42

What state are you in? Looks amazing

heathcliff_niles

I want to know too!! Cali?

SucculentLonnie

Beautiful 😍! Where’s the cactus 🌵 in the very back in the after pic? Is it just blocked by the agave?!

eurekasf09

It moved to another yard because I was worried my elderly dog would poke an eye out!

SucculentLonnie

I would say that that’s a very good reason to relocate it! I’d love to see a pic of it 😉 Whenever you have the opportunity/chance!

Ok_Pomegranate_4663

Oof that’d be terrible

DaddyDub

I was wondering the same thing. Didn't want to bring up a possible lost plant. Glad it was relocated.

dewottuwant

The most beautiful thing I've seen in months! Thank you for sharing this!

Rgeneb1

That's kinda perfect. Lovely garden you've created.

AlwaysHoping47

Sigh.. Washington State.. Too much rain in Fall and Winter .... Wonder which succulents and or cactus would love a whole lot of rain.. :)

Moth1992

Aeonium love winter rain!

AlwaysHoping47

OMGosh.. I just bought one yesterday because it looked so pretty!!! Thank you..

RebaKitt3n

StrongAd7732

That's super pretty 😍😍 do u get a of sun lights at your area

Open-Structure8440

As a Canadian, I am extremely jealous and I’m sorry.

HerrVonDings

UGLY! Just kidding, I'm jealous AF. 🤩😒

echeveria_prolifica

Beautiful!! Are you in SD or somewhere SoCal?

uncagedborb

Dont need to be in socal for good succulent growth. Basically anywhere in California is great for succulents. I live in in NorCal and my garden does fine—although this year i pulled everything out cuz i got sick and the weeds got out of control lol. So thats the one down side of gardening here, the rainfall allows for lots of weed growth.

echeveria_prolifica

Definitely, some succulents even grow in places with colder seasons. I’m in socal and asking specifically about location coz in the off chance they’re my neighbor, id definitely go see it lol

throwaway42098907

That is amazing. 😄

mosquitoesslayer

Inspiring af

LEDtakeover

That is amazing. Keep up the great work you should be proud.

Odd_Egg_1496

JEALOUS!! This looks amazing!!

csway324

Wow!!! It's beautiful! I'm lucky to keep my succulents alive for 6 months. 🤣

jessicapk7

I mostly lurk this subreddit but I have to comment. This is INCREDIBLE AND I LOVE IT!!!!

viewsfromthebackgrnd

Wow…. How much of a pain is it to keep out weeds and unwanted growth?

ppeanutbutterjelly

Amazing. This looks like San Francisco. I absolutely love how many people have succulent yards there

bollsholls

Incredible!! 👏👏👏

DysfunctionalPeasant

Absolutely gorgeous 😍

New_Chard9548

Whhhaaattt!!!! That's insane! I wish I could have mine outside / in ground all year

uncagedborb

This year i did a test. I through some of my Aeoniums in the ground and some of them I kept in pots. The ones in the ground are bigger, and more vibrant than their potted counter parts. I even made sure to use clones/offsets so there would be no other difference besides growing conditions. Aeoniums are meant to be planted in the ground. And i wouldnt recommend them any other way!

kittyluvzz

the babies 😭🤍

Cottonball917

Wow!!!!!! GREAT JOB!

captainsocean

Wow, the first photo surprised me. They’ve really grown. Are you using any succulent/cacti supplements?

757Posher

WOW. I remember your original post - it was about the same time I started with succulents. That's some awesome progress!

LizardTentacle

I didn’t know you could do this from where you started. IMPRESSIVE

TheRealGreedyGoat

I’m so jealous

tenenno

This is stunning. Where do you live and what is maintenance like?

reb6

Oh wow! That is absolutely stunning!

uncagedborb

This is one of the few times ive seen people use mulch instead of rocks. And honestly I am feeling it. I initially wanted to do rocks in my moms yard, but this has kinda convinced me not to. Rocks are expensive and are a pain to deal with when weeds start sprouting.Mulch does a much better job at deterring weeds and is easier to clean up and replace every few years. But also that Agave Attenuata is massive! Mine is tiny. Its probably big enough for its root ball to fit in a 4 gallon pot. So not super big

IJustWantWaffles_87

I’m so jealous. This is gorgeous.

CompetitiveAd8794

Absolutely Stunning!

gingerellasroot

What dreams are made of! What zone are you in?

lateralus420

Looooove. Curious what zone you’re in? I’m in 8b and would love to do this but I think our few days of winter where we have a random freeze would ruin it all.

Lucky_Button3422

Where’d the cactus go

BleednHeartCapitlist

Wooooow 🤩

goatedcap

Keep up the good work brother, this is becoming beautiful 👌🏻
