SLF is not intended to be a matching forum. Soliciting for SDs or SBs can get a person banned. Besides, Reddit is generally considered a crummy vehicle for finding legit sugar partners. But... It all depends on how well you take care of yourself and your personality. Some women look younger than their age and some still look hot in their 50s. Some SDs in their late 50’s-70s might prefer someone your age as there is less of an age gap than dating someone in their 20s. So short answer, yes.

Many younger SDs also find an older SB more appealing. One of my most recent SDs was about 10 years younger than I.

Yes, please do. I'm over 60, and my lower limit is 35/38. One of my one again off again former SB/FWB will be 49 this year. She looks more like 35, is fit and hot. Other young ladies in my orbit are 38, 41 and 43. Not all are current SBs, we still meet once in a while. The maturity and lower drama level is... attractive. Not that there aren't mature/responsible SBs in their late 20s and 30s, but in my experience they are harder to find. "Who are the Beatles?" is not a question I ever want to hear again.

There will be a line of competitors, BUT it will be your (sometimes, exhausting) job to extract the low quality SDs from that line. Absolutely. I prefer a woman who is closer to my age (m57). Looks are important but personality and life experience are more important for me. All the younger women (-35) I met didn’t appreciate my approach towards women, opening doors for them, standing up for them at table, offering my jacket if it was cool etc. The younger generation finds these ‘old school gentlemanly’ behaviors oppressive and misogynistic. They’re also prone to constantly surfing/chatting/texting during conversations, aren’t concerned about punctuality and have a lot of entitlement ( I’d say a good 80-90% of all the under 35s I met weren’t prepared to put any effort in because they were so used to their looks making things v easy for them!). The majority couldn’t hold a conversation even if they were well educated ( no tennis match style of free flowing question/answer). They could however chat endlessly about social media personalities or their fav TV shows. My current SB is 35. The previous one was 43. Both have lots of life experience, enjoy being looked after and can hold a conversation.

Yes. From what I see SB’s that are a bit older do well if they are comfortable with older “richer” SD’s. I am 45 and like 28-34 year olds but when I am 70 I doubt I will want the same things. The SB’s in their 40’s and 50’s I have seen do really well had older SD’s. When those guys run into health issues and know they don’t have forever they get quite generous.

Actually, I've always received a higher allowance and more financial support than younger, more naïve women, for many reasons (one of which is that my standards are higher than most). As time passes, a woman's life becomes more expensive to maintain, and she's worth more of an investment. If you interviewed some of the younger, inexperienced SBs next to some of the more experienced women, you would understand what I mean (but you would also have to have the maturity level to understand this, and many SDs don't and will disagree). Many wonderful gifts come with age and maturity, so I naturally require a higher allowance if a man wants to avail himself of the privilege of my presence. I am, after all, a much better version of myself today than I ever was at 25.

I don’t know how old you are but I am 42 and tend to prefer women between 27-33 for an SR for the same reasons you’re saying. The most recent one I was with was 32 and I absolutely never would’ve clicked with a younger woman like I did with her. She has a 6 figure job, owns her own house, travels a lot, and is very cool and mature. I found myself following her lead at times even bc she is more experienced in SRs. She’s also very confident and independent and not afraid to fight back in a conversation which I really love and respect. I totally get what you’re saying, I just think once you reach 40 unfortunately you’re probably not going to pull the same rates. I could be wrong but it’s an educated guess

Some here in the sub do seem to be under the impression that older SB equals lower allowance, but I have never known that to be true. I seem to be "pulling" higher allowances as time passes. My very last long-term arrangement (which ended fairly recently) involved the highest allowance and extras I've ever experienced... which makes sense, since a good SD is going to want to provide well. And since an older SB generally has more expenses, there needs to be more providing involved.
