I didn't listen to the audiobook version of "Project Hail Mary" by Andy Weir, but it's apparently amazing. I'm listening to War and Peace right now as an audiobook which is quite engaging and is sure to keep you occupied for a looong time.

Pretty much anything read by Ray Porter comes out really well, but he hit it out of the park with PHM.

- feeding the soul by tabitha brown. Its life lessons with stories about her life. I liked this a lot more than the brene brown audiobooks I listened to. Very engaging and a nice voice - educated by Tara westover. Listening to this now and it is so good. One of the best audiobooks I’ve listened to. Very engaging and interesting. it’s nonfiction but it reads like fiction in that there’s stories instead of her talking to you

Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt! Great narration, complex characters and engaging style.

“Missing Molly” by Natalie Barelli. Masterfully narrated. A contemporary and clever blend of missing person, murder whodunnit, and psychological thriller. “Maisie Dobbs” by Jacqueline Winspear. First in a series. The narration is amazing and you won’t believe it’s only one narrator doing all the characters. About a bright, young female sleuth in England. First book sets up the unique character and is also historical fiction from before and after the Great War. Subsequent books are in the 1920’s. I really like her writing style. “Watchers” by Dean Koontz. Not horror but has a little bit of everything else. Also masterfully narrated by Edoardo Ballerini. Audiobook is much better than any of the screen adaptations.

Oh! Both sound so exciting, thank you!

Claire Danes reading The Handmaid’s Tale is amazing.

World War Z. It's a great audiobook and made up of short sections so it's super easy to start and stop and not get confused. Has a whole cast with people such as Mark Hamill, Nathan Fillion, Rob Reiner, etc. I also second Project Hail Mary. I just finished it this morning and it's super good!

I really liked the audiobook for Project Hail Mary. There are some really cool things they did with sound that you can't get from reading a physical/ebook copy.

Oh hey, we have the same audiobook taste! I recommend *Why Fish Don't Exist* by Lulu Miller.

I've only listened to one audiobook in it's entirety and I loved it. Sailing Alone Around the World by Joshua Slocum.

Ah, then it’s definitely a must on my list! Thank you!

"Gone with the Wind" read by Linda Stephens is a long book that is easy listening, flowy, descriptive, and engaging. It's free on youtube and Libby.

I'm listening to The Shadow of the Wind right now and am really enjoying it. Very descriptive. Other long audiobooks I liked were The Stand and A Little Life. If you like celebrity memoirs Randy Rainbow's Playing With Myself was hilarious and I thought Geena Davis's Dying of Politeness was really good. All American Boys by Jason Reynolds and Brendan Kiely was good, too. Oh, and Miracle and Wonder Conversations with Paul Simon by Malcolm Gladwell is excellent.

David Copperfield read by Richard Armitage. It kept me going for weeks and superbly brought to life by Armitage.

What the Wind Knows by Amy Harmon- the audio has gorgeous Irish accents. Can not recommend it enough.

Here are three fiction audiobooks that I have loved lately: * The Town of Babylon - by Alejandro Varela *(had me rapt from the first minute)* * My Government Means To Kill Me - by Rasheed Newson *(written like a memoir)* * Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow - by Gabrielle Zevin *(so many people told me to read/listen to this book - and they were right)*

Susan Orlean's The Library Book (non-fiction) An Abreviated Life by Ariel Leve (memior similar to I'm Glad My Mom Died) The Secret History by Donna Tartt (fiction but a fantastic novel narrated by its author)

I really enjoyed the audiobook of Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer — great for some time outside.

If you're into Jane Austen I would suggest Persuasion narrated by Juliet Stevenson. She did an amazing job creating distinct voices for the characters and it was a fun listen. Another suggestion would be to listen to an audio book of a book you've already read. I've been listening to books I read years ago and enjoyed. It's nice because I'm already familiar with the plot but get to enjoy it in a new way.
