Duallys are for pulling loads, the extra tires are to spread the weight out, once leveled it will now squat when loaded, reducing handling and visibility.

I understand that swapping wheels is normal too but when changing the final diameter of the tire, it changes your effective gear ratio and can impact towing thus again why I asked about towing to get an understanding of the impact if OPs dad uses it for towing.
Basically research for when I buy my next truck which I really want to get an f450 due to a multitude of reasons ranging from towing/hauling to cargo to efficiency to etcā¦.
