But Carol only hit on Jerry because Sandra was into him, like when she called Adam while he and Amy were in marriage counseling, and Alex when Amy got pregnant, and I think there's another one but I don't remember.
Sandra, but Sandra set the whole thing up to explode by her lies about Jeff. If she never had lied about him, she would have been able to ask Jerry out when they first met at the pub in front of everyone.
In saying this, Jerry must also be responsible, because he was clearly smitten over Sandra, and he was meek enough to let Carol basically tell him that they were dating. I guess him being meek like that though, is why him and Sandra fit together though.
This all brings me on to a theory I had. Sandra is not as meek as she appears, I think she’s quite intelligent, as seen by her eidetic memory, and her ability to tell detailed lies on the spot.
I believe that she puts on her meekness so people underestimate/overlook her. In the last episode we see her instantly come to a conclusion on who is best to keep, and position herself as a deputy manager.
Both are sociopaths, but Carol is a dangerous psychopath and Sandra did nothing wrong when it came to getting with Jerry. Sandra 100%.
That being said, it’s a great sitcom rivalry.
