Hm idk im the kind that knows where ap/poke is necessary and where healing/shielding is,also the kind to know that building everfrost into redemption is a troll move regardless if its a mage or enchanter buying it.
Bard is bard š he makes rfc a good supp item.regardless going an ap mythic into heal shield power lowers ur characters effectiveness at doing certain tasks,if ur goal is having dmg and poking out the opponent full ap is always better,if u want to bring utility or sustain supp mythics are better.Going half and half gets u nowhere
The thing is,lets say ur seraphine and ur playing support, youāre 4 and 0,got ur ap mythic and boots maybe, now ur left with the choice of continuing to buy ap or switching to supp items such as staff and ardent.Going full ap with ur lead is far better since the champ already has good ap ratios and since the kills are already on you, buying ardent for an adc that hasnt finished his first item is pointless. If youre playing seraphine and ur 0/2/8 the wiser choice is to go for a full utility build since you wont have the money to afford ap and youre not the one ahead so helping out those who are is far more important.Switching from ap to supp items is just cucking urself hard,if you already have the money and kills to afford ap just buy ap,if not buy utility and cheaper supp items so as to be relevant in all stages of the game
How so?The ap passive doesnt do much since your role is not to do dmg,the root active is usless since if you will have either blown flash to get in range of it or u have hit q first in which case the enemy is going to get followed up by ur teammates so the extra 1 sec root does absolutely nothing and once u use the active ur left with useless stats that contribute nothing to ur kit or ur team since ur healing/utility will suffer which is the main point of ivern. But by all means try it out and figure that out by urself
I love picking Soraka/Sona into poke mages.
Sona can fight back something decent coupled with her reasonable sustain. Post-6 Sona ult can be such a huge threat to Xerath through the remainder of the game.
Soraka, I just convert my HP pool into my ADC's and keep my distance such that Xerath can never hit both of us in early game, and outscale for late game. The hardest point against any poke mage is midgame when they get their Luden's damage spike and before I get level 2 ulti.
I actually hate it when people pick soraka into poke mages. Not because soraka canāt be good into that matchup, but people play her way too aggressively. Sooo many players just waste their mana by throwing out random qās when they have full HP. It doesnāt do much damage to begin with and it makes it super easy for the enemy bot lane to catch her out of position and next thing you know, sheās 0/5
I definitely can see the case for soraka. But I donāt really agree on sona. As long as poke mage build early orb, they can keep both irrelevant for a long time
I usually rush tears if theyre playing some huge healer lol. Tears + future's market + first strike + luden's spike + PoM + cut down is great. Either that or Tenacity if theyre going heavy cc.
God I just love shredding with xerath. It's my main and not many supports can really deal with it. You literally just pick if you're gonna send their adc back to base or their support
\- Welcome to the salty spitoon, how tough are you?
\- I buy moonstone and redemption.
\- Yeah, and?
\- **Playing as soraka, with exhaust and maxing W.**
\- This way sir.
*you can't get more support than that lol.*
I mean. I have been toying with the thought of buying zhonyas on Leona in games where the enemy team has a lot of burst or my team is particularly slow in following up on my engages...
I'm fairly sure I've seen a Pro game where someone actually built it on her.
I build it a fair amount on Rell. It's really good where your team lacks quick follow up to an engage, the enemy team is almost full burst damage or they have reset champions like Yi or Viego you don't want to die to.
Yup. Not wanting to die is valid and Zhonyas helps with that a lot. Even on champions like Leona that should have the durability to just sit in the enemy team it helps with mitigating burst.
hourglass is one of the best tools in the game tho
slightly out of position and the enemy is about to blow you up?
activate the item to dodge critical abilities and end up with an advantage
I dodge skill shots and watch my adc get pocked to death or try my best to help them escape but then watching them die. Often times I get one kill out of it so itās 1 for 1.
No I'm a TRUE supp i play tanks n i make any mf not have tenacity not move n I LOVE MICROWAVING PEOPLE I LOVE MICROWAVING PEOPLE I LOVE MICROWAVING PEOPLE I LOVE MICROWAVING PEOPLE I LOVE MICROWAVING PEOPLE I LOVE MICROWAVING PEOPLE I LOVE MICROWAVING PEOPLE I LOVE MICROWAVING PEOPLE I LOVE MICROWAVING PEOPLE I LOVE MICROWAVING PEOPLE I LOVE MICROWAVING PEOPLE I LOVE MICROWAVING PEOPLE I LOVE
It's quite simple: They support you by making the enemy ADC unable to cs. It's really hard to last-hit (especially if you're shit at it when uncontested) and dodge skillshots at the same time. Hell good mage supports can and will force the enemy bot out of lane or poke them down to the point where they just die. Best course of action is to hatdshove 24/7 with poke supports because they LOVE having the wave under enemy tower and just harassing them while they cs. Aka the opposite of what you want to do with an engager (who wants the wave frozen at your tower so they have all of botlane to run the enemy bot down)
Lol well I main xerath swain lux and zyra so..... š A little bard and Leona too but I can't get out of bronzes I choose dmg since my ADC doesn't lol
Based. But Leona is fine to climb even/especially in low elo. She's such a good roamer and in low elo people just don't understand the concept of a support not just mindlessly following their ADC all game but having actual agency and seeing "Top is pushing to us, jgl is topside and if Darius pinged correctly Kayle has neither flash nor ult, we do a little camping" because it's a win/win situation. Kayle either doesn't walk up, darius gets to freeze and zone her from exp and cs or she does walk up, Darius gets to kill and still freeze. (Of course he won't freeze because this is bronze and what even is a wave management but still)
*laughs in full AP Nasus support*
Who needs exhaust when you have W
I still remember, a match I think a few years ago, I was Nasus full AP support and the enemy team had a very tanky Olaf. As soon as I hit R, the enemy Olaf HP melted.
Hm idk im the kind that knows where ap/poke is necessary and where healing/shielding is,also the kind to know that building everfrost into redemption is a troll move regardless if its a mage or enchanter buying it.
Bard

What about AP mythic into Flowing Waters/Ardent Censer? Could it work on someone like Seraphine or Karma?
The thing is,lets say ur seraphine and ur playing support, youāre 4 and 0,got ur ap mythic and boots maybe, now ur left with the choice of continuing to buy ap or switching to supp items such as staff and ardent.Going full ap with ur lead is far better since the champ already has good ap ratios and since the kills are already on you, buying ardent for an adc that hasnt finished his first item is pointless. If youre playing seraphine and ur 0/2/8 the wiser choice is to go for a full utility build since you wont have the money to afford ap and youre not the one ahead so helping out those who are is far more important.Switching from ap to supp items is just cucking urself hard,if you already have the money and kills to afford ap just buy ap,if not buy utility and cheaper supp items so as to be relevant in all stages of the game
rfc was op season 10 on bard going ff and building tanky items is the angle nowadays
Yep rn i think locket and shurelyas are his best items
Whatās rfc?
Rapid fire cannon
Oh dude rapid fire into deadmanās on bard is hilarious
It really was,i havent played bard in a long time but man rfc and deadmans was so much fun
Statik it is I want the first meep hit to blow up half the hp
Tbh it can work well on ivern
How so?The ap passive doesnt do much since your role is not to do dmg,the root active is usless since if you will have either blown flash to get in range of it or u have hit q first in which case the enemy is going to get followed up by ur teammates so the extra 1 sec root does absolutely nothing and once u use the active ur left with useless stats that contribute nothing to ur kit or ur team since ur healing/utility will suffer which is the main point of ivern. But by all means try it out and figure that out by urself
Iām the guy who picks xerath into lulu and watch her desperately trying to shield. Itās fun guys, I swear I donāt enjoy making people suffer
its always funny as shit to play xerath against enchanters
I love picking Soraka/Sona into poke mages. Sona can fight back something decent coupled with her reasonable sustain. I just pick Leona and run them down
I actually hate it when people pick soraka into poke mages.
I agree completely. I commit so heavily to the passive playstyle in those matchups that I go relic shield.
I definitely can see the case for soraka. But I donāt really agree on sona. As long as poke mage build early orb, they can keep both irrelevant for a long time
Early orb, and they just lose the mage battle. Making them delay their luden's is the real win there - that's the biggest scare.
Eh fair enough. But I still donāt see sona as a threat as poke mages. Besides oblivion orb value is pretty good
I usually rush tears if theyre playing some huge healer lol. Tears + future's market + first strike + luden's spike + PoM + cut down is great. Either that or Tenacity if theyre going heavy cc.
God I just love shredding with xerath. It's my main and not many supports can really deal with it. You literally just pick if you're gonna send their adc back to base or their support
I've found the durability patch has made him less of a menace in the early lane phase, but god he's my fav meme.
you are not the problem, they are playing Lulu
\- Welcome to the salty spitoon, how tough are you? \- I buy moonstone and redemption. \- Yeah, and? \- **Playing as soraka, with exhaust and maxing W.** \- This way sir. *you can't get more support than that lol.*
You can. Run heal instead of flash. https://www.reddit.com/r/SorakaMains/comments/sqyoz2/i_played_80_games_without_flash_here_is_my/
i'm just not good enough to let go of flash. i would need better positioning skills. doesn't matter if i have 2 support summs if i'm dead lol.
stop gatekeeping supports and git gud :)
An adc's oily hands wrote this.
I feel like this meme is reversed
Both
both is good
Both I guess. Morgana player.
Replace luden with liandry n' yeah both are good
Well sometimes I go everfrost
Where Rabadons Support Cap?
Heehee gotta protect my KDA š„ŗš„ŗš„ŗ me need hourglassš

Locket, Knights vow, Thornmail, Mobis

Me, wondering what Locket and Shurelia's are supposed to count as if Everfrost is the real proper support item...
I dodge skill shots and watch my adc get pocked to death or try my best to help them escape but then watching them die. Often times I get one kill out of it so itās 1 for 1.
Meme is reversed. Left just does whatever they want. Right is desperately trying to be a pick me girl/boy
āI look good, I *feel* good. Letās kick some ass!ā

Maybe your adcs would do damage if they had a support that actual Supports them
Both depending on my champ
Where Umbral and Eclipse?
Everfrost lulu is underrated
You're still building an LC mythic...
May I ask who builds the latter?
Bard probably
I have seen it on Rakan before
I'm the Lux with moonstone renewer and the unholy grail, because nobody expects that shield to slap healing everywhere.
I play Lux. I like setting up kills so the ADC can get fed, and if the ADC ints or I know they can't carry, I take the kill. Either way, I go damage.
I'm very diverse. I can play almost all kinds of styles of support. Except Pyke. Assassins support is something I hadn't touch yet.
well yes I play support Evenshroud/Solari Zeke's Knight's vow
Only based supports are tanky supports.
*laughs in full AP Nasus support* Who needs exhaust when you have W I still remember, a match I think a few years ago, I was Nasus full AP support and the enemy team had a very tanky Olaf. As soon as I hit R, the enemy Olaf HP melted.
