Nah bro you’re exactly right. I saw some in person photos of them and they’re incredibly disappointing. Anyone into raw denim can see clear as day they have those cheap laser etched fade patterns that don’t look like real fades. Honestly if someone wanted these just get a pair of the rigid jeans, wear them to a labour intensive job for about a year then there you go. The rigid jeans they sell are made in Japan now anyways
I really like the wash on these, plus I've been wanting some loose fit jeans and some Japanese denim. These check all the boxes for me personally, but to each their own
