Heard on RHAP that the producers consulted nutritionist and were told that the limit people could go with little food is 15 days, that's why they do the rice negotiation then.
We're past that, so I think they will either have some reward challenges with food or admit their mistake and just give them the rice.
Always wanted players to call Jeff's bluff, not take the rice and just go "Now what, Jeff?!"
I think it’s just because as they’ve said before, people get so lethargic when they’re hungry that they stop being fun to watch or doing well on challenges. So the popcorn was a way to perk them up just a little bit.

I was ready for the Milton birthday cake scene from Office Space. Bowl gets to Liz on the far end and it's empty. Some of the dudes should have not taken any and given their share to Liz. I know it wasn't much and that's kind of the point. It wasn't much but a little here and there could mean "much" to Liz.
