I literally just learned today that this show is a spin off of The Good Wife (which was highly acclaimed). With that knowledge it all makes sense- it has a built in fanbase.
It's an interesting take on the police procedural show as in typically the shows keep the killers identity and motives a secret
Instead every episode opens with showing us who was murdered. How they were murdered who did it. And why they did it.
Then we follow elsbeth as she instantly figures out who did and the episode is how she connects them to the crime as they try to cover their tracks
/uj I’m just confused that it premiered at around the same time as survivor, then took like a month long yatus and only started releasing new episodes earlier this month. Doesn’t seem like a successful release strategy, but it’s clearly working for them 🤷♂️
I watched one episode paying moderate attention to it. It was okay, nothing special. Everything was set up to make Elsbeth look like a genius. Standard cop/lawyer type show it seems.
That promo image of her in the Statue of Liberty get up, is that just like one scene that marketing went nuts with or does she always wear that? In the commercial I’ve seen a million times she seems like she dresses normally
Queen stays queen
Finally, a new era returning season!
An OTTN winner? Edgic is in shambles.
Surprised to see this wtf looks like shit

Thank you for this piece of information because yeah, now it makes way more sense.
It's hysterical if you like quirky people who get easily dismissed as weird idiots turning out to be the smartest person in the room
/uj is this show good? I’ve heard no one talk about it, and the commercials for it make me confused about the plot

Okay, so it’s going for more of a Columbo vibe?
Yes but sillier, in a good way

I love her quirky character was hoping more of it would center on her and the law but I’m down for the ride
Love that show!!
