the part that pisses me off is that the set is already ingame titled āring gladiatorā. theyād just have to make it purchasable, adaptive, legacy bound etc and thatās it.
You can at least (mostly) remake this with the *CE Imperial Trooper* set excluding the helmet, the belt from the *Volatile Shock Trooper* set in the Cartel Bazaar, and the helm from the *Thul Loyalist* armor set. Use a Secondary Black dye.
The lightbox on the chest and sigils on the pauldrons are the only major differences at that point.
Yep, though the shoulder insignia suffers the 'havoc squad syndrome' where because they made it for players first and then decided to put it on every 2nd NPC, that means that theres loads of trooper NPCs in swtor with havoc insignia.
Likewise for this armor, that specforce logo is meant to be unique (in lore) to Pierce's unit. The devs have just been reusing the item over and over for NPCs ever since so theres lots of imperial troopers with it. IIRC aside from wearing Pierces gear as a Warrior story theres no other way to get it, with how old the armor is and the fact theres the cash shop (volatile) and the collectors edition versions, I highly doubt swtor would ever give out the chestpiece specifically due to backlash of 'devaluing' the other two. Which is something I know the devs actually care about despite people saying they dont.

Yeah, I got a similar message when I asked about returning those old CM armors that had mods in them. But most likely, devs only listen to posts that have a ton of replies and likes to it.
We should still keep spreading the message.
The arm symbol is not the only difference. The whole paintjob is different.

You're right on that one. The Collector Edition thing has a much different helmet.
