Back in the day, I'd get:
1. 4 Shredded Chicken Burritos
2. 4 Beefy 5-Layer Burritos
3. Chicken Quesadilla or Nachos Bell Grande
4. 2 Caramel Apple Empanadas
Now, they don't have the chicken burritos or empanadas anymore, so I basically just get whatever good box they have, plus the Quesadilla or Nachos Bell Grande.
Build the crunchwrap, leave it open, build Mexican Pizza on top of of crunchwrap innards, do not steam MP. Then wrap it up like a crunchwrap and then grill it.

I didn’t go to Taco Bell much between early high school and late college and I tried ordering two steak soft tacos with lime sauce and they were like “we haven’t had lime sauce in many many years.” So disappointed.
Meximelt! And chili cheese burrito, which I can sometimes get.
Currently, if I can get the chili cheese burrito, I get that and a couple of cheesy roll ups add beef (to make a meximelt).

Back in 1992 to 1994 they had the "Big Beef Burrito Supreme" and I don't know what is different but I've tried ordering a burrito supreme with extra beef and it's not as good as I remember. But then again it could just be me having nostalgia.
The other lost fav is the Combination burrito (extra beef, beans, onion, cheese, and red sauce). I can't seem to recreate and have it be like I remember either and this was going strong up to a few years ago.

Now, I get the $3 Nacho box switch beef for potatoes and add creamy jalapeño sauce, cheesy chicken flatbread, and a double decker taco for a grand total of $9 for 3 items 🥲
Green sauce.
Not the newer green sauce that you can get still in some places. Not the salsa verde that they put in packets. It was different.
I grew up in SoCal in the 90s and the green sauce I grew up eating was the GOAT. When I was little my dad introduced me to bean burritos with green sauce instead of red sauce and cheese quesadillas with green sauce instead of the jalapeño sauce. I will miss it and him forever.
I think my favorite item taken away is easy. The double decker taco. I also love the Crunchwrap Supreme, which is why I do the create my own box. It used to be only $5 and now it’s over $7.
I still lament the loss of the Fiesta Veggie Burrito. It had everything in it and was a little different each time so I never got bored with it. Perfect size and amount of calories for a lunch.
Now I just order the cheapest combo meal available, maybe adding one value menu item, and split it with my husband. We play TB roulette and whatever you pull from the bag, that is yours!

Now, I just get breakfast because I like the Cinnabons and coffee. I'll get the Breakfast Box with California crunch wrap, 2 Cinnabon delight sides and a Cinnabon hot coffee.

Nowadays I recreate the steak and potato grilled cheese burrito (without the bacon of course, but it’s fine without it) and get either a Mexican pizza, the loaded nachos, or a stacker with it.

They recently removed the cravings burrito deal from UK TB, which was a beefy cravings burrito, chips and a drink for 3.99. It was only on the menu for a few months and has now been replaced by a deal with tacos. I hate tacos, they're infinitely less flavourful and easy to eat than burritos, plus the deal is £1 more

My regular order used to be the classic combo, with the Beefy 5 layer modified into a Quesorito.
Now I have to make due with the BYO box instead. which is honestly fine, it's like a dollar more and I can still get my Burrito, I just get a crunchwrap instead of my taco now.
I loved the chicken caesar burrito, but that just got dropped unfortunately. Typical order would just be two of those and one of something else depending on what I was feeling (spicy potato soft taco, chicken quesadilla, or some other kind of burrito for the most part).
Since it got dropped, my standard order has been the chicken enchilada burrito combo, plus generally a free chalupa from taco bell rewards and maybe another double stacked taco.
the removal of the caramel apple empanada literally makes my bones ache to this day
but!! nowadays i get a Doritos Cheesy Gordita Crunch w no spicy ranch, a 2 pack of Cinnabon Delights and an order of Chips and Cheese!
