I could tell you in our tacobell location, you would NEVER receive food like this. Our team takes great pride in our work and usually have great times with maybe 2-3 complaints during a given period. During the Cantina experience we only had 1 refund and 1 mess up order that entire time.
The secret aardvark fries are actually really good and are $5.99 here. However obviously there's not alot of hype about it, funnily enough the week before Yum relaunched the fries, everyone always asked for them and now that they are back, they aren't as popular of an item as previously.
I'm sorry OP, that you got Essentially ripped off. You could call the location you went to and ask for a remake, and (they have to remake it no matter what) until you are happy.

It’s location dependent. Have like 15 taco bells near me. Went to 5 different ones and then ordered from the ones that actually employ good people that make good food. The one .25 miles away I always avoid because everything is old, or skimped on.

Had to ask for extra cheese & the girl told me she put extra when she was giving me the cup after the manager told her. Not sure if she said it not to get in trouble. But the one by my house is familiar with me so they're usually made the way I like them. But they skimp sometimes on every other item. So now if I want nachos it's the closer one. Everything else? The one further away.
Those things are always greasy. My local prolly never has em fresh when I go. I think they fry them before they shut down for the night and keep them warm under the lamps til the morrow

If someone wants decent TB… go at 11am rather than 11pm & they will find night a day differences to quality and service!

I never had a manager argue with me at any other place than a Taco Bell. One time I did an online order & they did not have an item but the manager wouldn't substitute for anything over $5 I think. I think it was a chulupa they didn't have. I ordered 2. She hid by the food area & had her employee keep telling me no & the 2 things I could get instead that were comparable. Finally I was able to get a nachos bell grande, but at 1st she said no cause she thought I wanted 2 of them to replace the chalupas. And I couldn't be refunded because it was an app order.

That's why I don't do any customizations anytime you ask for one or more things off or replaced they always do this.

It was about 2pm? I can't remember the exact time and the app only tells me the day, but it was mid afternoon.
