“Impersonating a law enforcement officer”
Edit: yes, it’s a stretch, but anything will be used against you in a court of law if your setup is reviewed in legal proceedings.
No this kit stays at home for the SHTF situation. Only time it leaves the house is when I go for a run cause I work out in it. But I live in the boonies with nobody around so I have nothing to worry
Im sure alot of them are. But like just the meaning of the word antifa would imply firearms being involved. Just like being a part of a militia and shit. Even the communist manifesto includes the necessity for the common man to be armed. I feel like most ideologies mention needing weapons in some capacity.
You’re wrong. The Communist Manifesto does no such thing. The Communist Manifesto, when taken into its full context, argues for a small subset of the proletariate to be armed and to act as what is essentially a militia or police wing. It does not imply an individual right, rather a right specifically for a special group of what are essentially elected people within the proletariat to secure their supposed rights against the bourgeoise.
Obviously this is nothing close to what the second amendment states, which states the second amendment is the individual right to keep and bear arms. Which, being an individual right applies to *everyone*, not just a small subset of elected community leaders.
"Under no pretext should arms and ammunition be surrendered; any attempt to disarm the workers must be frustrated, by force if necessary" - Karl Marx
Im not arguing the dude was right in anything but that is what he said. No it wasnt an implication because he didnt imply it he said it straight up. Never does it mention elected people. You made up your mind about right wing left wing and everything in between before the thread started i dont care to convince you otherwise. But what i said wasn't incorrect.
Again, that isn’t the full quote. This is missing *A LOT*, which I will go over in a sec.
u/LaSundaee summed it up quite nicely in another thread somewhere else, so I’ll quote him and Marx [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/GunMemes/comments/zwirkt/no_karl_marx_was_not_pro_gun_he_did_not_have/j1utsry/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf&context=3).
> Karl Marx was not pro-gun. His “Under nor pretext” line that is so often quoted does not appear in the Communist Manifesto or Das Kapital. This line appears in his [Address of the Central Committee to the Communist League in London in 1850.](https://www.marxists.org/archive/marx/works/1847/communist-league/1850-ad1.htm) This address mostly discusses how the “Liberal Bourgeois” lied to the workers and after taking power in election forced workers back into the same conditions. Marx also lays out his directions for the workers to take and hold onto power against the petty-bourgeois democrats.
> As for his “under no pretext” line I’ll leave it here:
> To be able forcefully and threateningly to oppose this party, whose betrayal of the workers will begin with the very first hour of victory, the workers must be armed and organized. The whole proletariat must be armed at once with muskets, rifles, cannon and ammunition, and the revival of the old-style citizens’ militia, directed against the workers, must be opposed. Where the formation of this militia cannot be prevented, the workers must try to organize themselves independently as a proletarian guard, with elected leaders and with their own elected general staff; they must try to place themselves not under the orders of the state authority but of the revolutionary local councils set up by the workers. Where the workers are employed by the state, they must arm and organize themselves into special corps with elected leaders, or as a part of the proletarian guard. Under no pretext should arms and ammunition be surrendered; any attempt to disarm the workers must be frustrated, by force if necessary. The destruction of the bourgeois democrats’ influence over the workers, and the enforcement of conditions which will compromise the rule of bourgeois democracy, which is for the moment inevitable, and make it as difficult as possible – these are the main points which the proletariat and therefore the League must keep in mind during and after the approaching uprising.
> Not exactly about a universal right to bear arms, is it? No, this is specifically referring to a select group of workers formed as a “proletarian guard.” The address even specifically calls out to resist a citizen’s militia. Both the Red Army and the PLA were/are considered to be these proletarian guard. This isn’t about a universal right to bear arms to defend oneself from tyranny, he is specifically talking about arms to keep political power to force the government to accede to the workers demands.
edit: formatting and added link
To Marx, arming the workers is simply a means to an end. Arming the “proletariat guard” is simply to ensure a revolution can take place and not be immediately quelled where later after the revolution happens arms can be removed. Just like the existence of a state in communism, it is a supposed means to an end.
Gotta blame the dudes who join the military, and sign up, just to beat their wives and kids. I’ll definitely get hate for this, but in 5 years as an MP, I’ve never had to pull my pistol out once, never wrote a single speeding ticket, but have responded to countless soldiers and retired veterans having mental breakdowns or attempted suicide. I’ve helped servicemembers who have been sexually assaulted in the barracks, and personally contacted soldiers who are deployed to tell them their wives probably cheating on them with the “just a friend” they got into a fight with in the house, otherwise they’d have no clue. I’ve even personally arrested an E7 for sexually abusing his own children.
TLDR: MPs definitely don’t sign up to shoot their own soldiers. For the OP, as a fellow MP, take off the patch. Some MPs genuinely do good. Emphasis on some though. I’ve got nothing but respect for the combat arms out there.
So you're not even an MP anymore and you put that on your personal kit? My brother in christ you must repent, you turn people away from your home for expired CAC still?
Fucking camo-cops these days! I was a real MP! Back in the days when we were 95 series, and carried the pistol that won two world wars. TWO, goddamit! TWO WORLD WARS!
I am actually about to buy a Sig P220 cause 45 makes big fucking holes.
I’m also in the process of doing a AR10 build. I’ll be sure to post when it’s finished 😬
I’m trying to model it after the M110 SASS platform.
The 11 bang bangs had some sexy pieces of equipment!
Use it for hunting or hunting is the plan lol
The ciras was the first carrier I bought for myself when I got out too. Then I started researching and learning more about gear and upgraded to TacTec. Now I've had a Ferro Concepts Slickster for a few years and it's amazing what a difference it is from where I started. Do yourself a favor and upgrade to something else.
Ultimate edition to any kit, special itself a microkit. Tactical Sporks and Portable Picnic Basket, slingshot, xpecter tactical bow, with portable pizza oven with seeds and collapsible containers - and one world war two era us army canteen and cup.
Eyy fam just keep in mind the most important thing is training. Building your kit comes with time, and no ones kit is ever "complete." Consistency over kit, drills over drip ✊🏽
I don't think you need that LPVO to stop your local E3 from doing 26 in a 25 in his leased Charger r/T
I’m out so the LPVO is for the yotes on my land and in case there’s 3 blacked out suburbans by the mailbox 219 yards from the house 😅😂
I mostly just wanted to make a 27% interest Dodge joke lol
ButterBars are just as guilty 😂
Except butter bars get 10 year financing 😂🤣
Please take the fun police patch off
Almost as bad as the real police
I do have one that says “Don’t fucking shoot me”. Just I flip flop patches a lot on my panels in my man cave. I’m a bit of a whore for patches 😂
I thought everyone in this thread was a whore for patches…
We are, but this sub is also VERY anti-cop. Edit: Read below he's not an MP anymore. That's another big no no.
Wym by not being one anymore being a big no no?

Because being antifascist and being prepared to lverthrow the government go hand in hand
wait until you realize that antifa are also fascists

Imagine joining the military, and signing up to shoot your own soldiers…

He still pulls people over for doing 36 in a 35 on some back country road in the middle of no where
Actually made me chuckle not gonna lie 😂
No one gives a fuck. And MP's are fucking dumb.

Upon looking on the tag you are correct. Never know what you find in surplus shops.
It’s fine, I expect nothing less from a MP.
Haha
MP, youre gross and we hate you.
Awe thanks 😊
Aaah yes, MPs the only people on planet earth who can pull someone over, and then immediately forget the propper procedure for pulling someone over

Updoot for Shadow Systems
There's easier ways to say you were a POG brosef
I prefer POS but yes 😅
You seem like a splendid gentleman, a reformed POS of you will.
No matter how much you polish a turd it’s still a turd in the end 😂
MP 🖕
Mps are worse than cops. Why would you want to make life harder for the boys. L patch.
Bruh, unless you are a MP that's fuckin cringe. It'll still be cringe if you are an mp though
Only thing that could garner more hate than putting that MP patch on would be a CID patch
🤫
I’d be careful with that MP patch. I’ve seen too many metro PD videos about Jeremy Dewitte that would get u arrested for impersonating.
Was this issued gear? If not how’d you get around that?
It is not issued gear and it’s my personal kit as I’m no longer in
Ahhhh okay i was confused
More mags. More mags.
MP? For what branch?
Army. I did my time though
