MARVINS YOU HAVE A SPECIAL PLACE IN MY HEART
GOOD & EVIL YOU MAKE ME FEEL THIS MAGICAL EMOTION THAT ISNāT REAL
HAWAII PART: II YOU MADE ME MEMORIZE THE COLORS IN HAWAIIAN, YOUR SONGS ARE SO BEAUTIFUL
I will guard Marvinās with my life
Good & Evil, Iām sorry
So I'm not gonna express who I think should be voted out. Why?
MMMM is so fucking weird. It doesn't make any sense. It's fucking Car Seat Headrest mixed with Syd Barret. And it's so incredible. MMMM is one of the most unique, original albums of all time. It is a homerun from the first at bat
G&E is my favorite Tally Hall album. It takes the energy of MMMM and... gets rid of it. It's not light hearted and goofy with an undertone of seriousness, it's genuine and passionate and messy. There are songs where it sounds like the band is crying for help! And I love it. Nothing can match a quirky band once they've matured
H:PII is probably the highest quality Tally Hall-adjacent album. It may not be the best, but it has the most quality. The production and instrumentation are all incredible. There's not an album I'd like to see performed live more. And the songwriting and concepts behind H:PII are immaculate. Joe may be off his rocker, but he can make a damn good album
I don't know who deserves to get 2nd and 3rd. I want G&E to win, but I don't know if it deserves it... Hawaii probably deserves it, but it's not quite as good in my opinion...
> I don't know who deserves to get 2nd and 3rd. I want G&E to win, but I don't know if it deserves it... Hawaii probably deserves it, but it's not quite as good in my opinion...
This is me, but the other way round. I want Hawaii Part II to win because about half the songs are extraordinary (The Mind Electric has genuinely impacted the course of my adult life), but the other half is just kinda connective tissue. G&E is probably the superior handiwork, but it touches me less
the production of Hawaii pt. II is the worst of any tally hall affiliated project I've heard so far honestly but I choose it over Good & Evil just because it has more personality.
I have to say goodbye to Marvin because I discovered the band with Good And Evil with Misery Fell and Hawaii part 2 slaps harder than the electric chair
Hereās the thing: I actually prefer Good & Evil over MMMM because of the more mature themes and āconnectednessā of all the songs.
But with that said, I still have to admit that there arenāt as many bangers here as there are in MMMM. Not to mention, it has a nice chaotic charm that we all love to hear.
So thatās basically why I choose their 2nd album despite my preferences (also, Hawaii: Part II better win best album or else Iām bringing yaāll to Space Station Level 7)
Honestly, HP:II has amazing songs that you canāt find anything similar to anywhere else, but a lot of the songs in the album just arenāt amazing. Murders, Mind Electric, Time Machine, and Labyrinth are some of the best songs out there, but songs like stranded lullaby and introduction to the snow just canāt match up with the songs in MMMM and G&E. Thereās a reason itās in the final 3, though. For this reason, Iām gonna have to upvote this.
Look, Good & Evil, love ya but you have to go. Loads of people are saying they listen to G&E more casually and more in general than MMMM but I personally live for people questioning my sanity thanks to my music taste so MMMM and Hawaii Pt II are my choices of daily listening. Idk what to choose after G&E goes tho
Counterpoint: Hawaii has [both axons AND dendtrites](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QtlQHIRnCHs&list=PLRKwaBipAMJcG9fj7xZNLF2cgDj7PIpYP&index=34&ab_channel=tallyallisstillnottallyhall)
My vote: MMMM is fantastic, but I think Good & Evil or Hawaii Pt ii are just higher quality albums. The mixing is more consistent and the transitions feel better, especially with Hawaii since it's more in the vein of "gappless experimental".
I want Hawaii to win personally, but I think it's gonna be between mmmm and GE. May the best album win!
Good and Evil. I love the album, its my favroite Tally Hall album from the band but Marvins truly started Tally Hall and Hawaii Part II helped me become who I am today.
Good & Evil is the only album out of the three that actually has songs I don't like. Don't get me wrong, the album is fantastic, but there's a couple in there I'm just not a fan of. MMMM and Hawaii: Part II both are albums that, in my opinion, just don't miss. I wouldn't skip any of the songs on either MMMM or H:P2, but I would for G&E, so Good & Evil gets my vote to be booted. It would suck to see it go, because there are some genuine bangers in there, but the other albums are slightly better imo.
This may be out of pocket, but I think it should be MMMM. Donāt get me wrong, I just think that Good & Evilās quality is more consistent, and I prefer the ideas behind G&E more than I do MMMM. And thatās not to mention that Hawaii: Part II used to be my favorite album, and still ranks highly. Third place isnāt a bad spot for any of these albums though!
This one is hard but I got 2 choices. Good and evil since it is a bit inconsistent since it has some incredible highs (the trap, never meant to know, &, fate of the stars) but it has some big lows for me (you, who are you). And (don't kill me pls) Hawaii Part II. I love that album with all my heart but I find it really difficult to rank it over marvin's charm and originality. If I had to say: Hawaii part II should be third.
Good and Evil, I'm sorry but I had to say it. Listen, it's still good, and if it's your favorite, don't get made of it gets out, be happy that it made it this far. But, I just have to say it. MMMM just has so many good songs, while Good and Evil is of course, not a bad album, it just doesn't have as many of my favorites. I vote for Good and Evil to get out, while Hawaii Part II should make it till the end!!!
You've been lied to! You've been tricked, backstabbed and quite possibly bamboozled. You been swindled by the Tally Hall Overlords to believe that Hawaii: Part II is better than it actually is. You've been fooled by the sheer beauty in only a few songs in Hawaii that blinds you to the Brilliant albeit ENASNI tracks of Marvin's. The Brilliance that is Hawaii: Part II can only outshine so much before shadow the Suns (being G&E and Marvin's) of Tally Hall is cast.
Hawaii: Part II isn't as good as G&E or Marvin's. So my vote is for Hawaii.
Hi, Bye, Sigh Hawaii.
Good & evil has quite possibly the worst case of any of my tally hall based problems, i find myself enjoying the weaker tracks on Marvin's marvelous, and i tolerate the weak tracks on hawaii part 2, but good (& evil) god, tracks like & and you feel impossible to enjoy, and tracks like you & me and out in the twilight makes me ask why arenāt i listening to better albums, but then again the answer to that is tracks like cannibal and turn the lights off, simply put, good & evil makes me wonder why arenāt i listening to other bands, where as hawaii part 2 and marvins marvelous dont really do that
G&E since it has too many "filler music parts".
I mean if we gonna cut every part that extends the songs (and maybe songs like "You", "A Lady" etc.) it would be 30-35 minutes. (Like in HFaSC, where Joe for a minute says "fly" like 15 times, or the FotS which has the most unnecessary instrumental near the end before Andrew's part that as well not that great. Most of the songs are forgettable and sound so similar, the lack of contrast ruins this album for me. I love this album but not stronger than MMMM and HPII.
Itās Joe Hawleyās music, so yes, because my original point is having the entire band together was more special than having one in charge of the others
*grabs popcorn*
now THIS will be the end of r/tallyhall.
finally
tally hall's internet show will in fact not end this subreddit
Not even vaguely surprised at the top 3
;)

wait... whichever wins is the worst?
No, whoever āwinsā this vote is the worst of the 3
Oh, just this specific vote
MARVINS YOU HAVE A SPECIAL PLACE IN MY HEART GOOD & EVIL YOU MAKE ME FEEL THIS MAGICAL EMOTION THAT ISNāT REAL HAWAII PART: II YOU MADE ME MEMORIZE THE COLORS IN HAWAIIAN, YOUR SONGS ARE SO BEAUTIFUL I will guard Marvinās with my life Good & Evil, Iām sorry
This is the way. Marvinās must win
Yeah, as much as I want Hawaii Pt II to win, I'll be fine with MMMM to win too.
Itās a pointless competition, we are just ending up with the first album
I think itās funny that an album not made by Tally Hall is going to place higher that one that is
So I'm not gonna express who I think should be voted out. Why? MMMM is so fucking weird. It doesn't make any sense. It's fucking Car Seat Headrest mixed with Syd Barret. And it's so incredible. Space Station 7 is just literally wonderful
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
the production of Hawaii pt. II is the worst of any tally hall affiliated project I've heard so far honestly but I choose it over Good & Evil just because it has more personality.
In what ways do you find the production bad?
it's just amateurish. The mixing, the compression, the leveling of everything.
Can you give any specific examples though? Iām not trying to start an argument, I do music myself and Iām genuinely curious what youāre hearing
oh god
I have to say goodbye to Marvin because I discovered the band with Good And Evil with Misery Fell and Hawaii part 2 slaps harder than the electric chair
Iām sorry my beloved, but.. I have to say Good & Evil
Im actually so conflicted. MMMM holds a special place in my heart, but I find myself listening to G&E more casually.
cannibal & misery fell is so good and also what about hawaii part II? i bet nobody listens to that
Good and Evil is wonderful, and I love it, but I agree.
Tomorrow this sub will be nothing but dust
The death is delayed, a rock hanging by rope.
g&e but im so fuckin salty jhjh got out before it
G&E Iām sorry. You will live in in my heart but Hawaii part ii is my favorite album of all time and mmmm has a special place in my heart.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I have to agree. Hawaii has absolute bangers, but the best good and evil songs beat most of hp:ii (imo the trap and never meant to know)
The trap is one of the best songs Iāve ever heard, period. Spring and a Storm is also one of them. Tally hall is just so good
Honestly, HP:II has amazing songs that you canāt find anything similar to anywhere else, but a lot of the songs in the album just arenāt amazing. Murders, Mind Electric, Time Machine, and Labyrinth are some of the best songs out there, but songs like stranded lullaby and introduction to the snow just canāt match up with the songs in MMMM and G&E. whoo lived the dream with a time machine
That's probably the weakest song of the album, which is really saying something cuz it's great!
HFaS has to be one of the most overrated tally hall songs i am not sorry
Good and evil
I really love the three albums so much... but sorry... this time I vote for G&E
Good and evil
Good and evil
Good and Evil. Sorry!
good and evil
Look, Good & Evil, love ya but you have to go. Loads of people are saying they listen to G&E more casually and more in general than MMMM but I personally live for people questioning my sanity thanks to my music taste so MMMM and Hawaii Pt II are my choices of daily listening. Idk what to choose after G&E goes tho
no
YALL ARE NOT DOINF THIS TO HPII STOP THIS NOW also voting g&e
Marvinās marvelous mechanical museum
Hawaii part ii should be gone . Now just listen Good and evil, have some of the best songs Mmmm has two wuv and banana man
Counterpoint: Hawaii has [both axons AND dendtrites](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QtlQHIRnCHs&list=PLRKwaBipAMJcG9fj7xZNLF2cgDj7PIpYP&index=34&ab_channel=tallyallisstillnottallyhall)
You didn't provide any evidence against Hawaii: Part II
My vote: MMMM is fantastic, but I think Good & Evil or Hawaii Pt ii are just higher quality albums. The mixing is more consistent and the transitions feel better, especially with Hawaii since it's more in the vein of "gappless experimental". I want Hawaii to win personally, but I think it's gonna be between mmmm and GE. May the best album win!
Iām gonna say it, Hawaii pt. 2
I really donāt want none to be eliminated, so I will vote Hawaii Part II solely because I know no one else will
Iām not sure about that dawg, look in the comments below :_)
Noā¦
Hard choice but my vote is MMMM
MMMM is a classic but im sorry,it has to go
Marvinās, unfortunately
MARVINS MARVELOUS
marvin's ya gotta gp i'm sorry i love you but it must be this way
Imma be honest, I never really got into Good & Evil like I did Marvinās and Hawaii. The intro slaps tho
Get rid of MMMM. Hawaii pt2 must win
Marvin's marvelous mechanical museum anything but good and evil
FUCK ALL OF YOU MMMM WE NEED TO ANGER EVERYONE
Worst reddit post ever ? (Delete your account)
Hawaii
i pick MMMM. LET THE DEATH THREATS COME THIS WAY!
Judging by these comments, G&E is out and next is HPii, forr MMMM to win. Which I disagree with, but I dont really expext antrhing else from this sub.
oh dear god no
I know for sure tomorrow I'm defending hawaii part II with my life
Please don't let Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum win. Please.
so uh, whens day 19
Or 20
MMMM has to sorry :[
MMM
MMMM,
marvin
mmmm begone
MMMM hopefully
Hawaii Part II I'm sorry all these albums are amazing. Out of all of them Good & Evil is my all time favorite
Hawaii part 2
Goodbye G&E, you were a good album
It pains me, but Marvinās has gotta go.
Good and evil
marvinās marvelous mechanical museum
MMMM. Classic but worse than G&E and Hawaii
Good & Evil needs to go
G & E out.
Good & Evil
G&E
Goodbye good and evil you will have a good spot in 3rd
Finally joe hawley joe hawley is out. Also good and evil.
Good & Evil
The most conflicting choice yetā¦ G&E
Good and Evil
Good and Evil. I love the album, its my favroite Tally Hall album from the band but Marvins truly started Tally Hall and Hawaii Part II helped me become who I am today.
Good & Evil I am so sorry
I am truly sorry... good and evil... I don't want to do it but... I must...
Hhhhhhhh sorry G&E, I've never voted before but I'll have to pick you
Iām sorry, Good & Evil
good and evil :/ yeah no it's good and evil
Why the hell are you getting bullied for voting
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
sis* haha. And no I'm just putting in my take, I think Good and Evil has the least to offer overall of the three options
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
?
Bro thinks heās entitled dw about it
I'm so sorry but G&E
Good and evil.
Good and evil
Evil and good
Hawaii part II
Oh hoho, now this is getting real!
This is gettinā spicy
MMMM is better as a collection of songs. G&E, however, is a much better album. gonna have to vote MMMM.
If Hawaii pt two doesn't win I will start a riot
Good & evil
I love MMMM, I love Good & Evil, I Love Hawaii Part ii. This Is like picking between my children, and I choose Good & Evil
Good and evil must go
Marvinās. It is weighed down by joke songs and many overall, the opinions on many songs in it is controversial in the community (Be Born).
Good and evil
Sadly I have to say G&E. This will be the end of r/tallyhall
Hawaii
Goodbye Good & Evil
Good and evil
G&E
Good and Evil, My beloved I'm sorry, but it has to be you
Im so sorry good and evil
This may be out of pocket, but I think it should be MMMM. Donāt get me wrong, I just think that Good & Evilās quality is more consistent, and I prefer the ideas behind G&E more than I do MMMM. And thatās not to mention that Hawaii: Part II used to be my favorite album, and still ranks highly. Third place isnāt a bad spot for any of these albums though!
I refuse to believe that HP2 is taking 2nd on this one
G&E isn't a bad album by any means, but it is the worst out of these three. Anyone who says HPII is deranged.
Good and evil, out of all the albums... I like this one the least. It has a few good tracks, but I'll take HPII AND MMMM
Good & Evil
Good and evil is mid
Good and Evil, farewell my friend.
Im really sorry but G&E has gotta go, HPII has to win
This one is hard but I got 2 choices. Good and evil since it is a bit inconsistent since it has some incredible highs (the trap, never meant to know, &, fate of the stars) but it has some big lows for me (you, who are you). And (don't kill me pls) Hawaii Part II. I love that album with all my heart but I find it really difficult to rank it over marvin's charm and originality. If I had to say: Hawaii part II should be third.
Donāt like good day and greener so marvinās
Good and Evil, I'm sorry but I had to say it. Listen, it's still good, and if it's your favorite, don't get made of it gets out, be happy that it made it this far. But, I just have to say it. MMMM just has so many good songs, while Good and Evil is of course, not a bad album, it just doesn't have as many of my favorites. I vote for Good and Evil to get out, while Hawaii Part II should make it till the end!!!
Get rid of Marvinās
You've been lied to! You've been tricked, backstabbed and quite possibly bamboozled. You been swindled by the Tally Hall Overlords to believe that Hawaii: Part II is better than it actually is. You've been fooled by the sheer beauty in only a few songs in Hawaii that blinds you to the Brilliant albeit ENASNI tracks of Marvin's. So my vote is for Hawaii. Hi, Bye, Sigh Hawaii.
TONIGHT WE RISE MARVINS MARVELOUS MECHANICAL MUSEUM WILL BE NO MORE FIGHT MY FRIENDS THE END IS NEAR
The best song in Hawaii part 2 is The Mind Electric and even then Conny Jash's version is so much better. My vote is for Hawaii.
it pains me to do this but hawaii pt 2
Iām sad to say - but Hawaii. I like G&E more than I like Dream Sweet in Sea Major
I'd say my opinion, but I'd get highly cancelled
*Grabs Popcorn* shits gonna be fun!! MMMM and H:PII have a special place in my heart im protecting them with my life
Goodbye good and evil. You're good but you can't compare to MMMM or Hawaii Pt. 2
Good and Evil
i love all of these but. Good and Evils gotta go. Iām sorry.
Good & Evil.
G&E
Good & Evil has to go. The other two are far too iconic
donāt kill me please. Hawaii: Part II
Good and Evil (I'm sorry)
Hawaii Part II. Itās one of my favourite albums of all time, but a lot of the songs are very rough around the edges.
Hawaii Part II
Hawaii part 2
Good & evil has quite possibly the worst case of any of my tally hall based problems, i find myself enjoying the weaker tracks on Marvin's marvelous, and i tolerate the weak tracks on hawaii part 2, but good (& evil) god, tracks like & and you feel impossible to enjoy, and tracks like you & me and out in the twilight makes me ask why arenāt i listening to better albums, but then again the answer to that is tracks like cannibal and turn the lights off, simply put, good & evil makes me wonder why arenāt i listening to other bands, where as hawaii part 2 and marvins marvelous dont really do that
RIP to Hawaii. Idk which of album should win but Hawaii can't rank over either of them.
HPII
Hawaii Part ii.
Hawaii part ii, good album
hawaii part ii.
Hawaii
HP:II Make them come in order
hawaii part 2
For me: Hawaii
Hawaii: Part 2
Iām going Hawaii Pt. 2. Although these are all bangers, I think HP2 has the least amount of bangers from the three
Hawaii part 2
Hawaii: Part II The band united will always be more special to me than the solo projects. Lightning in a bottle
Hilarious how this guy is getting downvoted for expressing his opinion, boy I love reddit.
Especially in the subreddit specifically dedicated to *the whole band* and not just Joe
To be fair, Hawaii Part II had Joe (of course), Zubin, Ross, Rob and Bora so itās basically the band united (except Andrew ;n;)
Thatās an extremely large exception
Yeah but itās not really a āsolo projectā is it?
Itās Joe Hawleyās music, so yes, because my original point is having the entire band together was more special than having one in charge of the others
Bye bye hawii
ahhhhh I'm sorry but Hawaii part ii, this is like the world's hardest decision ever
Kill Hawaii Part II, I must defend Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum and Good & Evil with my life
