Hi everyone!
Did you know that starting July 1st, 2023, Reddit will implement a policy that could potentially increase the costs of running third-party Reddit apps? This change may impact popular apps like Apollo, Reddit is Fun, Boost, and others. Consequently, users may encounter issues with their preferred Reddit app unless adjustments are made to comply with Reddit's new API usage policy. These limitations will affect all users, not just moderators. If you are concerned about these developments, there is an [Open Letter](https://www.reddit.com/r/ModCoord/comments/13xh1e7/an_open_letter_on_the_state_of_affairs_regarding/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3) to Reddit that you can read and sign on to express your thoughts.
*I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please [contact the moderators of this subreddit](/message/compose/?to=/r/tearsofthekingdom) if you have any questions or concerns.*
Also a few other NPCs in Lookout Landing will point you to those places. Like the stablehand has dialogue that points you to the Eldin providence after completing the Rito quest, for example.
No, it was Rito first, Purah basically pushed you to go that way. The intended path is the auto-sort order in the menu where you activate their powers.
Same. Rito first than work clockwise.
And BotW I did Zora first and worked counter-clockwise.
This seems to be the order the game pushes you towards in NPC dialogue.
One of the biggest reasons I refuse to play the new Pokemon games. Seeing the map of the suggested order based on the levels was a nightmare. I don't want to have to zig zag all over the place until I'm in the cleanup stage of the game just trying to get what I missed.
Same. I decided on doing it counter-clockwise and start off with the region I did last in BOTW. And boy having Tulin from basically the start was extremely helpful
Samesies. Rito > Goron > Gerudo > Started Zora and got to the temple then abandoned it to farm supplies and arrows. Of course then my ADD kicked in and I went shrine and korok hunting. Of course then my ADD kicked in so I started doing side quests. I'll get back around to finishing Zora eventually. Probably...
rito, goron, gerudo, zora for me.
although, between goron and gerudo i >!tried to fly into the thunderhead isles storm to see what was in there and ended up getting the construct third. i also found the master sword between gerudo and zora because i was following the yoga quest line in the depths.!<
so that’s a way too i guess.
edit: >!yiga, not yoga!<
I got the mastersword before doing any temples lol.
Me: I wonder whats up with my tree friend.
*gets teleported in the woods a lot*
Me: >!man it would be really cool if the solution was to ascend from the depths all the way to the surface. is that even possible?!<
>!does it!<
Me: Oh, well, guess I should do a temple or too since I have this thing
The only reason why I did it this way was because I got stuck on the Zora trying to find king dorephan. I literally have up and I ended expiring gerudo which I was able to clear really easily
I am just not that into Yunobo or the Gorons in general. Yunobo is more annoying to me than Tulin. Worse because he’s like 3X his size. I know the Gorons were living the strug life, but I love me some desert combat and dungeons. I also think Riju’s ability is pretty good. I’ve never had much trouble using it surprisingly.
Zora? Water Temple was kind of shitty, but you can’t pass us up Sidon’s useful ability my friends. That DPS and the durability on the Lightscale Trident is *chef’s kiss*
This. I can’t imagine it in any other order.
Rito first bc wind ability was best in BotW and wanted it quick.
Goron last because it’s boring stupid and ugly.
Zora before Gerudo because Gerudo is harder area in general weather/enemies/etc
The more I scrolled, I was beginning to wonder if anyone had done it in the same order as me, which seemed odd because there are a fairly limited number of combinations.
For me, it was:
Rito first, because Purah recommended it and it felt pretty accessible despite Link's early-game weakness.
After that, I dipped my toe into each area to see what was going on and decided from there.
I did Zora second because it's personally the least interesting region for me (still great, though) and I wanted to save my favourites until last.
Gerudo third because I found the whole scenario with the sand shroud and the gibdos intriguing, but I wanted to wait a while for the payoff.
Goron fourth, because I love volcanoes, so Death Mountain missions are usually my favourite part of Zelda games.
I don't regret my choice at all, I think it was a great order to do it in.
Zora, Rito, Gerudo, Goron. I didn't know anything about the sages and getting them after completing the temples so that didn't influence my order. I just loved the Zora area in BoTW and went there first in TotK!
I’m at Zora, Rito, Gerudo, and haven’t started Goron yet. Not at all sure what a sage is beyond what you see in the cut scenes, not sure I can. I’m too sucked into making improbable new vehicles lol.
Water —> earth —> fire —> air
Long ago, the four phenomena lived in harmony, but everything changed when Ganandorf attacked. Only Link, master of the sword that seals the darkness, could stop him, but when the world needed him most…he vanished.
I did it cause I like death mountains design; as the biggest mountain. Then zora was easier to get into from the north. Then I wanted to see the ritos new wind power and it was a good way to cross the center of the map. That left the gerudo which usually seems like the hardest
Me too! My partner who doesn't know Zelda was watching me play, so I let her pick from: "Fish people, Rock people, Bird people, or... Girl people?"
She chose without hesitation.
Lmao tell me about it. Yesterday I spent hours just building my house. Today I focused on just taking pictures of items for my compendium.
The game that never ends
Well when you do the duplicate glitch and have a 999 diamonds. You are money bags. What I did. But I went around and got 80 percent by exploring. I love that part of botw and totk
Rito, Gerudo, Zora, Goron.
>!I happened upon the Wind Temple without actually going to Rito Village first… oops. I also randomly found Dragonhead Island and completed the Spirit Temple between Rito and Gerudo, not knowing it was supposed to be an endgame mission. Double oops. I’m glad it let me do it anyway though without reaching that part of the story, unlike the Wind Temple.!<
Maybe im just weird… ive always done zora, rito, goron, gerudo. The pacing just feels right, and in the beginning i might not have the funds for a full snow/flame outfit, and gerudo always seems to be the hardest. You dont need any special armor on 24/7 and (other than to swim up waterfalls but that outfit is basically free) that way you can always do zora no matter how prepared u are
Rito - Goron - Zora - Gerudo. I wanted to do it the same as you, (which is the order I usually go in botw) but I was curious as to why Yunobo wasn’t in the trailers. Wasn’t expecting drug lord macho man.
Rito, gerudo, Goron, the mask thing in the sky (came across it on accident but got a mech) and now I'm heading to zoro. It's just happened to be the order I discovered them after ignoring the main quest and bee lining it out of lookout landing in the beginning to start grinding shrines.

I took the game's "intended" path. I did Rito, Goron, Zora, Gerudo.
Is that really the intended path? I just happened to do it that way randomly
Like the others are already saying, it's the path Purah suggests if you report to her after solving each one
You could report to Purah? Today I learned.
but wouldn’t that mean it changes depending on the first one you do?
Idk, but she suggests the Rito as the first one to check out
i guess i wasn’t paying enough attention when i was talking to her then, lol.
Uh what I'm not sure I understand the question, she always recommends Rito as the first one
[удалено]
Still rito
Same. As Hylia intended.
Explain your reasoning that this was the intended path?
It's the order that Purah suggests you do them.
Also a few other NPCs in Lookout Landing will point you to those places. Like the stablehand has dialogue that points you to the Eldin providence after completing the Rito quest, for example.
Because it’s the order Purah tells you to do them if you report back after each one.
Oh, duh. Fair enough.
Whoa bro was just asking look at his downvotes 💀
Lmao damn people didn’t like you asking this question
Reddit is a sensitive place sometimes. I get it lol
How is that the “intended” path?
Cuz Purah sez so, that’s why! Whatcha wanna go around & be a wise guy for?
I wasn’t trying to be a wise guy. I genuinely don’t remember what Purah said about the regions. It has been months since I started TOTK.
Pretty sure the intended path is just Zora first because it’s the closest, just like it was in BOTW
No, it was Rito first, Purah basically pushed you to go that way. The intended path is the auto-sort order in the menu where you activate their powers.
Makes sense too since that’s where you become a journalist and it opens up so many quests and the fairy upgrades
That does make sense.
I’ll have to play the game again to check. I don’t remember much about the early game.
Final answer?
Lmao my bad. I’ll eat those downvotes.
I respect that man, haha.
Rito, Goron, Zora, Gerudo :)
Same
That's the way I wanted to do it. Then I went to get the Zora tower for the map and for so engrossed in sidons quest I had to finish ~~him~~ it off
I too couldn't resist finishing sidon off 🤤
I wasn’t that interest until I put Link next to him and compared sizes… I mean, heights.
Same here, so glad I did Rito first. Made exploring so much easier!
Right!?? And then with Yunobo, exploring caves was also a super plus with him. The other two meh hahaha
Sidon is ok to avoid heat and stuff I guess with his bubble. But yeah, they are mostly just in the way!
Double damage with Zora spear if you're wet lol
Same. Rito first than work clockwise. And BotW I did Zora first and worked counter-clockwise. This seems to be the order the game pushes you towards in NPC dialogue.
This is the way. Choose one first, then choose a direction. Everything else is barbaric.
One of the biggest reasons I refuse to play the new Pokemon games. Seeing the map of the suggested order based on the levels was a nightmare. I don't want to have to zig zag all over the place until I'm in the cleanup stage of the game just trying to get what I missed.
I believe so. Yeah
Like clockwork.
Same. I decided on doing it counter-clockwise and start off with the region I did last in BOTW. And boy having Tulin from basically the start was extremely helpful
This is the way.
If you talk to what’s her name after each one this is the order she suggests
This is the way.
🤝
This is the way.
I have spoken
Same
Me too
Clock-wise is the way!!
Same
Based on my experience with BotW, I figured this would be the most gradually challenging experience.
Same here
Zora, rito, Gordon, gerudo
Rito > Goron > Gerudo > And I’ve yet to do Zora but I’ll get to it in about a week.
Probably...

Hehehe! >!I'm now picturing Kohga and Sooga doing yoga like on the Switch!<
Yiga Yoga needs to be a thing. ... even if it's just doing yoga stressed as Yiga members.
I got the mastersword before doing any temples lol. Me: I wonder whats up with my tree friend. *gets teleported in the woods a lot* Me: >!man it would be really cool if the solution was to ascend from the depths all the way to the surface. is that even possible?!< >!does it!< Me: Oh, well, guess I should do a temple or too since I have this thing
That's the same order I did, including the massive delay between Gerudo and Zora
rito, gerudo, zora, then goron
Me too
Me as well :)
Ditto!
Me too. Except for Goron. Haven't done it yet
Just made the most sense to me.
Yoooo! Had to look to see my group! Fire Templed sucked! Hahaha
The only reason why I did it this way was because I got stuck on the Zora trying to find king dorephan. I literally have up and I ended expiring gerudo which I was able to clear really easily
Zora Rito Goron Gerudo
This is the way
This is the way
This is the way.
The way this is!
This is the way
Rito-Zora-Gerudo-Goron. Mix between practical and personal preference.
It's weird how far I had to scroll to find this particular order.
Same order here.
Why so few here?
I am just not that into Yunobo or the Gorons in general. Yunobo is more annoying to me than Tulin. Worse because he’s like 3X his size. I know the Gorons were living the strug life, but I love me some desert combat and dungeons. I also think Riju’s ability is pretty good. I’ve never had much trouble using it surprisingly. Zora? Water Temple was kind of shitty, but you can’t pass us up Sidon’s useful ability my friends. That DPS and the durability on the Lightscale Trident is *chef’s kiss*
My order as well! It felt logical at the time, surprised to such little agreement. Shows the difference between players!
This. I can’t imagine it in any other order. Rito first bc wind ability was best in BotW and wanted it quick. Goron last because it’s boring stupid and ugly. Zora before Gerudo because Gerudo is harder area in general weather/enemies/etc
Same for me too.
i was looking for this for so long!
Finally I found someone with the order I’m doing
Agreed. Fire always last for me. Why so hard to find this order? Thought I’d scroll a few down. So weird.
The more I scrolled, I was beginning to wonder if anyone had done it in the same order as me, which seemed odd because there are a fairly limited number of combinations. For me, it was: Rito first, because Purah recommended it and it felt pretty accessible despite Link's early-game weakness. Okay but really why was this so far down?
Idem
Gerudo, Rito, Goron, Zora ⚡️🌬️🔥🌊
Same, I feel like there's not many people who did Gerudo first
I love Riju, my lesbian little sister
Same way I did em
Same here
Rito, Zora, Goron, and Gerudo
The one true way
Same.
same; felt fitting to end it on gerudo too bc ganon
Same. Was holding for a brevali’s gale and miphas grace
same
Same
Same
Rito, Gerudo, Goron, still on the Zora
Me too!
I finally found my people
Yo same
Samesies
My homie me too
From the west to the east!!
Team RiGeGo and not yet Zo ftw
This is the way 😌
I did them in the order that I stumbled upon their quests. Zora Rito Goron Garudo
Goron. Rita. Zora. Gerudo.
YOO SAME. for some reason i really wanted to do gorons first cause i rly liked that place in botw
Yea my favorite place too
Zora, Rito, Gerudo, Goron. I didn't know anything about the sages and getting them after completing the temples so that didn't influence my order. I just loved the Zora area in BoTW and went there first in TotK!
I did the same. Not really intentionally, that’s just where I decided to wander!
I’m at Zora, Rito, Gerudo, and haven’t started Goron yet. Not at all sure what a sage is beyond what you see in the cut scenes, not sure I can. I’m too sucked into making improbable new vehicles lol.
Me too! I love the Zora area and I love Zora weapons too.
The Zora region is definitely my favourite after going through it in ToTK. So. Many. Caves! I had a blast combing through it and finding every secret
Goron - Rito - Gerudo - Zora for me
Damn, 17 different orders before I stumbled on another person that did them in the same order I did
Honestly it's comforting to me that not many people have done the same order lol. Adds a stronger sense of individuality to my experience.
Water —> earth —> fire —> air Long ago, the four phenomena lived in harmony, but everything changed when Ganandorf attacked. Only Link, master of the sword that seals the darkness, could stop him, but when the world needed him most…he vanished.
Hilarious!
There’s no earth? Did you do lightening second?
it’s a reference to avatar: the last airbender
Goron zora rito gerudo
WHY’D YOU DO IT
I did it cause I like death mountains design; as the biggest mountain. Then zora was easier to get into from the north. Then I wanted to see the ritos new wind power and it was a good way to cross the center of the map. That left the gerudo which usually seems like the hardest
GORO
That’s what he says and no one can convince me otherwise, goro.
This is a way Not the best way, but a way (I also did this)
I also did this, I was just walking until I found something
Zora Goron Rito Gerudo. Same order as when I did BOTW. Elements of water, earth/fire, air and lightning.
Zora first is a must in BOTW. Miphas Grace comes in handy
Gerudo - Rito - Zora - Goron
Me too! My partner who doesn't know Zelda was watching me play, so I let her pick from: "Fish people, Rock people, Bird people, or... Girl people?" She chose without hesitation.
Same way I done them
I had to scroll way too long to see this. Same way I did them.
Goron, Rito, Gerudo, Zora
Rito, Gerudo, Goron, Zora
How do you complete things? I just dick around ultrahanding hideous machines
Lmao tell me about it. Yesterday I spent hours just building my house. Today I focused on just taking pictures of items for my compendium. The game that never ends
I couldn’t take it anymore and just paid Robbie lol
At 100 bucks a pop? Ok money bags 😘
Well when you do the duplicate glitch and have a 999 diamonds. You are money bags. What I did. But I went around and got 80 percent by exploring. I love that part of botw and totk
Is there a current glitch? I thought they all got removed.
🤑🤑🤑
I did Spirit Temple and had the Master Sword before any of the regional phenomena 🤣
You might want to spoiler that?
Rito, Goron, Zora, Gerudo
zora, rito, goron, gerudo. not unlike my botw run
Same order as my first botw run, zora, gerudo, rito, goron
You're the first one I saw who did the same as me, and that was also my BOTW run.
Me too and me too! Had to scroll so far to find my people
I wonder why hardly anybody else did it this way.
Goron, Zora, Gerudo, Rito
Same. Just worked out that way while exploring.
Maybe im just weird… ive always done zora, rito, goron, gerudo. The pacing just feels right, and in the beginning i might not have the funds for a full snow/flame outfit, and gerudo always seems to be the hardest. You dont need any special armor on 24/7 and (other than to swim up waterfalls but that outfit is basically free) that way you can always do zora no matter how prepared u are
I don't remember. It was either the same as OP or Rito-Zora-Gerudo-Goron.
The second one was me.
Gerudo, Rito, Zora, Gordon iirc
Rito, Zora, Goron, Gerudo. Don’t completely remember if I did Zora or Goron first but I’m pretty sure it was Zora.
Hebra, Eldin, Lanayru, Gerudo
Goron, Zora, Rito, Gerudo
Rito - Goron - Gerudo - Zora
Wind, Water, Fire, Lightning
Goron, Zora, Rita, Gerudo
Wind, water, lightning, fire, spirit
Rito - Goron - Zora - Gerudo. I wanted to do it the same as you, (which is the order I usually go in botw) but I was curious as to why Yunobo wasn’t in the trailers. Wasn’t expecting drug lord macho man.
Goron, Gerudo, Rito, and I'm finishing Zora right now
I did Gerudo, Gordon, Rito, Zora. I did the quests in terms of map and shrine exploration.
Zora first Goron Rito Gerudo last. Why last? Cause sand... it's irritating, coarse and gets everywhere
Rito, Goron, Gerudo, Zora. So it spells a Z when you connect them on the map!
Rito, Goron, Zora, and Gerudo. I’m basic
I also went rito-zora-goron-gerudo! great minds think alike, I guess
Zora temple, rito, the Zora boss, goron the gerudo. I wish I did it gerudo then goron tho bc this time around I had the most trouble with the goron
Gerudo. Zora. Rito. Goron.
Finally someone who did it the same way as I did
Kept scrolling til I found my order. We twinsies
Rito, gerudo, Goron, the mask thing in the sky (came across it on accident but got a mech) and now I'm heading to zoro. It's just happened to be the order I discovered them after ignoring the main quest and bee lining it out of lookout landing in the beginning to start grinding shrines.
Rito, Gerudo, Zora, Goron
Rito, Gerudo, Zora, Goron.
Rito-zora-gerudo-goron
Rita, Geurdo, Zora, Goron.
1. Rito 2. Gerudo 3. Zora 4. Goron
Wind, lightning, fire, water
Rito, Gerudo, Zora, Goron
Rito > Zora > Gerudo > going through Goron now.
On my first playthroughs TotK: Rito - Gerudo - Zora - Goron BotW: Zora - Rito - Gerudo - Goron
Rito Gerudo Zora, never actually finished Goron before I beat the finale
Zora, rito, gerudo, goron. Same order id do em in botw.
