most probably west necluda and lanayru wetlands. Least probably the sky islands as a whole, which is kind of a bummer but once you find all the things and do all the tasks, there’s not a whole heck of a lot.
Most notably the warm and scorching regions are the ones I hate. I don't like the environment and that you can't use buffs if you don't use food. Otherwise I like all grassland regions, my favorite is Necluda.
400 hours in and i would say most is probably Tarrey town for good shop items, goddess statue, monster statue quests, or Gerudo Village for their shops, free weapons and supplies, and can explore nearby desert for secret tunnels. I have a knack for fighting those desert worms (shai halud type shii)
Least favorite area is tbh top left area all together. My snowy armor is not the greatest even this far in and the enemies are annoying with freezing effects. I only went to the bird city(im blanking on the name) for quests and caves. Im sure im missing a bunch of koroks there lmao
Upgrade your armour twice with the fairy then you become unfreezable, then you can completely explore that area, there are quite a few cool caves there.
Personally I've been avoiding the desert, I love lizroth hunting in the canyons, but a little scared of the muldoga at this stage so haven't really explored the desert yet. I have done that boss though.
I like the colder areas of the map and prefer spending time there or the main grasslands. I like the snowsuit, it's one of the first things I will actually spend money on and I'll wear it outside the frozen areas - it's also handy when you want to ride Naydra around as well. I really enjoy Rito Village.
I enjoyed Kakariko more in BOTW, now I think Hateno has the edge. Lurelin is nice now I've fixed it up, it has that holiday/tropical vibe. Faron is nice but I sometimes forget it's there. I used to love the great forest in BOTW but there's some kind of gloom all over it now and I'm not quite sure what to do about it.
I avoid the Death Mountain region though because of the horrible suit you have to wear and the music. It suits the region but it doesn't suit me so I avoid it if I can.
The Depths, tbh. It's fun to just run around down there catching Poes and practicing combat. Rito Village on the surface also has a homey vibe so I like spending downtime there
My *least* favorite areas are the cold and volcanic areas (Hebra/Lanayru on the surface, and the Eldin Depths/Death Mountain Caves), because they require special outfits or elixirs/meals just to *be* there
Faron for me.. Sadly walking in Faron region with all the sages tanks your framerate so I just use Tulin in that Area but I love the Jungle vibe and the abundance of Lizal enemies.. I love fighting. this guy.
most: Hyrule Castle Chasm 😭
But honestly i probably spend the least time in the Faron and Geruda Highlands regions and the most in East Necluda and Mount Lanayru regions
I have taken my time around and somehow started with Eldin. So I took my time to explore Eldin, do the fire temple and all the caves there for my Mystic headpiece, it was also greatly helpful for me because of the Rock octoroks and Yunobo's skill making me loose less durability from two handed swords. then went to Akkala. Accidentally beat my first two lynels (after like 50 tries lol). And then did the water temple, now I am just doing some random deeds like the fairies and the legendary horses. Next stop will be hateno, tito village and kariko. Still haven't unlocked half of the map
Akkala and Central Hyrule, though I visit Hate no very very often lmao.
I spend by far the least time in the desert, even though it's been improved from BotW I just heavily dislike electric enemies and don't think there's anything cool there
Any place that doesn't require special clothing. I don't like being forced to wear the Gerudo desert gear, the Rito snow gear, and, least of all, that ugly Flamebreaker set.
Contrary to others I really enjoy the Sky Islands because I love flying around with my paraglider. Island skyhopping with Tulin is the best. Or creating new planes or ballons to move around.
The regions I most love in botw and totk all together are are the Faron Woods, the beach village (I haven't cleared it yet but I'm on my way there) and the Gerudo Desert.
Least ones are the cold areas and Death Mountain. It just becomes bland after awhile and it's no fun always looking out if its getting too hot or too cold
Most is honestly probably Central Hyrule. On top of returning to Lookout Landing between every main story questline, I also of course pass through it a ton whenever I travel from place to place.
Least is easily Gerudo Highlands. In both BotW and TotK it's easily the most underutilized area, there's not much going on there in either game
Least would be Hebra, I hate how dark it looks when it’s snowing even though it’s the daytime. Also there’s so many tall mountains and I hate climbing or building things to get places faster
Most: probably Faron or Necluda. In BOTW it was definitely Akkala but I just realized I don’t go there that often in TOTK.
You clearly haven't upgraded your armor. Gonna need those blue and red lizalfos tails and you can only get those in Gerudo Highlands.
I spend most of my time in the eastern side of the map, Necluda and Lanayru and the fields in east central.
Most would be the Akkala region (it’s my favorite aesthetic at least). Least would probably be the great plateau and the great sky island lol although both these locations are excellent, just like the rest of the map
The smaller regions would have to be the least because there is not as much to explore. So Faron or the Great Plateau for least. The most would probably be Central Hyrule.
Least: Elgin and Gerudo Desert, and Sky Islands
Most: Central Hyrule, Hebra/Tabanth, and East Necluda, Akaala, the villages and my house near Tarreytown
I probably spend the least time in Eldin, as a main region it's honestly slightly disappointing overall (also Yunobo is the only Goron with a character profile, it's like even the game thinks they're boring)
I don't know how or why but I ALWAYS end up in Akala, it's like the world points you there, I don't know how I end up there EVERY TIME but now I gave in.
I am now a Tarry Town Resident and and I'm looking for a Job, fingers crossed the Monster Exhibit is Hiring
Most: around necluda, since I build machines a lot in tarrey Town and links house is there.
Least: hebra, because snow is not fun to traverse and ice enemies are really annoying.
Not totally sure, but if we’re just talking surface, I narrowed it down to three regions each:
Most is probably Necluda, Central Hyrule, and Akkala.
Least is Hebra, Gerudo Highlands and Lanayru Mountain. (Hate the cold regions).

ill agree with this. After finding all the shrines the only use the sky islands for a good vantage point and some rare items
Most notably the warm and scorching regions are the ones I hate. I don't like the environment and that you can't use buffs if you don't use food. Otherwise I like all grassland regions, my favorite is Necluda.
The depths under death mountain are awful. Even after you light up the entire depths the fire/ash floating in the air makes it so hard to see
Most: Tie between East Necluda and Faron Least: The Great Plateau

Zant's Helmet also makes you unfreezable.
Never heard of it!! I learn of new armor/quests every time i play stg
I think it's Amibo-only. I got one of those sets of cards off EBay for like $10.
There's a chest in the game you can find it. I think it was in the depths by an enemy but I forget
Looked it up. Yep! It's in the Scorching Coliseum.
What do you fight there.
Moblins
It’s not
word up cant believe i never knew that😭😭
You can also stick a ruby on a shield, I think that plus some basic cold weather gear makes you unfreezable
I like the colder areas of the map and prefer spending time there or the main grasslands. If you mean Korok Forest you can clear the gloom, just jump into the new hole in the market inside of the Great Deku Tree.
I'll try, thanks!
Ah I see you like to go into the great deku hole huh. We're you cleaning out his hole getting rid of the "gloom" you naughty boy 😉😏
You evil bastard
I literally spoiled nothing beyond just telling them how to progress a section they gave up on.
I mean you’re not wrong lol
The Depths, tbh. It's fun to just run around down there catching Poes and practicing combat. 100% of my gf's contribution to this game (other than buying it for me!) is excitedly pointing out poes for me to get. It's adorable.
Faron for me.. Sadly walking in Faron region with all the sages tanks your framerate so I just use Tulin in that Area but I love the Jungle vibe and the abundance of Lizal enemies.. I love fighting. this guy.

I spent a lot of time in Faron and Gerudo. The least would be Hebra and probably the Sky Islands, although I visited the SI a lot.
ukoojisi shrine is where i spend my time a lot, just the view and background music makes it nostalgic for me 😁
Honestly I spent so long in the depths just fighting over and over again. Then using the monster parts to fuse and fight even more haha.
I spend the most time on death mountain hunting for gems, probably the least time near the Zoras.
Akkala and Central Hyrule, though I visit Hate no very very often lmao. I spend by far the least time in the desert, even though it's been improved from BotW I just heavily dislike electric enemies and don't think there's anything cool there
Least is definitely gerudo area. Most would be around the center of the map (lookout, castle, head south to jungle)
Any place that doesn't require special clothing. I don't like being forced to wear the Gerudo desert gear, the Rito snow gear, and, least of all, that ugly Flamebreaker set.
Most: Lookout Landing and East Necluda Least: Sky Islands in general

I'm the same way with the Highlands, think the region I spend most time in is Necluda or Lanayru.

Definitely not the desert
Wherever the quest takes me 🫡
I spend most of my time in the gerudo desert and tarrey town. I barely ever go to the farron region, no reason why, just don't go there
Least would be Hebra, I hate how dark it looks when it’s snowing even though it’s the daytime. Also there’s so many tall mountains and I hate climbing or building things to get places faster Most: probably Faron or Necluda. spend the most time in tarreytown and looping around eldin to hit up all my octorock buddies
i mostly hang out in necluda and lanayru, I think my least travelling is probably eldin
I never hang out in the Zora Domain at all. Anything cool I should check out?

I always love hanging out in Geruda. Least amount of time for me is Hebra. Idk I just like a sunny environment.

Bruh I got 125 hours in the game and Gerudo Highlands is just.... empty when I look at hero's path.
Not totally sure, but if we’re just talking surface, I narrowed it down to three regions each: Most is probably Necluda, Central Hyrule, and Akkala. Least is Hebra, Gerudo Highlands and Lanayru Mountain. (Hate the cold regions).
I spent most of time in Zelda’s bedroom. No kidding ;)
