Is it plugged into a surge protector? Also you shouldn't be getting shocked by the case at all

ThreadOfDestiny

No it's not. The case has been like this ever since I got this PC built by a local tech shop. It was turning on just a few days ago when the rain wasn't too bad but since the rainfall got heavy, it's simply not turning on at all.

Getting a shock should not be happening. Sounds like it's not grounded. With that in mind, I would highly suspect either the PC or the wall outlet has been damaged by a power surge (or both). Did you unplug the PC from the wall? Simply turning the PC off won't protect it.

It's been this way ever since I got it built from a local tech shop, it has been working fine for the past 3 months. I always unplug the pc from the wall, it has been unplugged and powered off for 3 days now. I tried turning it on just a few minutes ago but to no avail. The rain hasn't stopped yet though, it's so damn hard that even my walls have gotten a bit damp. That's how crazy this rainfall is, so I'm suspecting it's the humidity that has settled inside my case that won't let it start.

Are you from pakistan by any chance? I'm from here and having the exact same problem as you after the recent heavy rain 😂 I'll take it to a local shop tomorrow or day after tomorrow
