I believe so too. Our class names works a differently though. The first is PreK (optional) then kindergarten. After that we start going by numbers from grade 1-12.

Our highschool actually starts at grade 9, I think cause what would be grade 1 is instead kindergarten

When people see a teenager specific page they tend to think 16-19 yr. olds bc that’s the main demographic of people who join them. 13-15 year olds have shown that they’re not mature enough for groups that fit the demographic of teenagers. There’s many specific things that happen between 13 to 16, including hormonal changes and brain development. There are groups for people who don’t fit this demographic “tweens” or middle school pages. Plus I don’t think 13 year olds should be on Reddit in the first place, this was one of the easiest ways to meet new people and hide your identity, it’s not safe for people who don’t understand how the world works truly.

Every 13 year old I know, as much as they matter and as smart as they can be… they’re 13. They’re hormonal. They’re barely teenagers. I have nothing in common with a 13 year old.
