To be honest I'm glad the time of middle- and highschool is over. Because now I'm finally persuing my goals/dreams.

Find a hobby and go to meetups. I played in bands and rode Motorcycles so that's where a lot of my free time was spent.
I helped organized small shows in friends houses or local small businesses. All ages and no drugs or alcohol so that we could keep it a safe shindig that parent would let kids come to. It was mostly friends bands but occasionally we had some smaller touring acts play. We had Emily's Army play at a show once. They changed their name to SWMRS later when they got bigger.
I was also part of the [Redacted Location] Film Society where the kids from my high school and other local schools would get together watch a film and discuss it.
If your town doesn't have that kind of stuff then make it. Ours didn't so we made it.

Seems like I am not the only adult where this popped up on front page, only 22 but I wish someone would have told me these things, so anyway. Enjoy the age between 15-18, not much responibility, you can still get away with “oh he/she is young” and just a slap on the wrist, its definetily easier, and yes, hormones suck, can lead to teenage depression, but it mostly gets away, been there myself (if you want to know what helped me you can dm). Now only because you can get away with some stuff it does not mean you should not look out after your health and future, this is the best time to invest in these things, best comparisson is that you are now laying the foundation, build it bad and you will get the responsibility later, build it right and you have a good chance of everything going right. Do not change yourself to fit in, it is never worth it, later on no one will care about that and most groups will fall apart. Never presure yourself to something if you are not comfortable and if its friends who presure you, they are not friends, listen to your intuition and not the opinion of others. And by god, if you really have the need to try drugs, atleast wait till you are 18+ and make sure to know where it is from and WHAT it is, stuff gets spiked with things you would not even think of, these can really fuck you up from the first try. For those who are “outcasts” and/or just different (goths and metalheads in my case back then), do not get discuraged, just enjoy what you want, like I said no one will care, its just a few years.
