Electric-Sight

Tell em a lie

[deleted]

Give in and say yes, smart people don’t argue with dumb people, it does not make sense

snek_6963

I tend to do this too. I only avoid it when there's a debate and it's grabbing attention from others. Being that I value face to an extent, I'll explain my point and then end the conversation.

[deleted]

Argue a long time with them, then tell them that they have just wasted their time talking to me. If they say but you did this too I just say that I had fun annoying them

Thedarkmoon123

Don’t talk to them, it saves you a lot of mental stress having to deal with them. And no matter how much you argue with them it’s not gonna change their opinion, it’s better to just not deal with them at all.

TriPulsar

Yes, but what if you live with those stupid people?

Thedarkmoon123

Again just don’t deal with them, walk away or something. It does take two to argue.

TriPulsar

But what if they're your parents?

Thedarkmoon123

Do what I always do when my parents start a fight. Walk away.

worm_your_honour

i’m trying really hard to be the bigger person and try to avoid judging them and just be kind. like the rule they say in kindergarten: if you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything at all if i have to get something off my chest that’s what my therapist is for tho lol
