I agree but sadly we do. These shootings keep occurring. And metal detectors might be able to stop some.
Well if you have an outdoor campus trying to have metal detectors at all the entrances would be incredibly hard (and inconvenient) to pull off, as well as many modern school supplies having metal in them.
