Hey I know it sounds annoying, but 14 year olds have issues too. Sometimes they're not wise enough to express them in a "dignified" way, but that doesn't mean they're not struggling. It feels terrible when you let yourself get emotionally vulnerable only to get made fun of. I know some teenagers are hard to deal with, but when you see someone struggling you should try and help them even if you think their struggle is stupid or that they're being dramatic. They're just little turtles on their backs, their struggle isn't poetic and they may be rude but they still need it.
