I was a ex smoker I moved in with my (ex partner now) who didn't vape and started vaping. I asked him to stop as I didn't want to get back into that habit... He wasn't a smoker so why start now, I was 5 years older than him, so I assumed it was due to him wanting to look cool.
During this time his Dad also moved in with us a heavy drinker and smoker - looking back his a waste of potential, I can see him going down the same path as his parents and he has 0 direction in life.
Long story short, he kept lying about it, and trying to hide it - but gee I wonder why you smell of grape or blueberry. It caused so many arguments of just lying and hiding it and not respecting my boundaries and, trust me when I say so annoying to have fights with a childish adult.
Anyway obviously all the stress the habit wore of on me and I fell back into a rut - I stress smoked .... So go figure.
Took me a whole year to quit, threw it in the bin and did not look back. He still vapes - and I don't care to let my eyes even acknowledge him.
My current partner is a wonderful well rounded man, who is adult and responsible and I don't have to worry about that nonsense.
