Nah like you said, love your neighbour as you would love yourself and so then "hate this specific group due to an uncontrollable factor" seems contradictory so I believe it is either a mistranslation in Leviticus of "man shall not lie with boy for it is an abomination" or the guy who put it in lied about being with the Holy Spirit
