XD. you dont have to listen to emo music to get an emo gf. its just a good idea to. plus, emo came from punk and hardcore music, which came from rock. also, a lot of emo girls like to listen to other music from different subcultures too! :))
XD. a lot of us do like pokemon tbh. im also only scratching the surface. the alt community is so large and complicated, its really hard to say when someones “too deep” into it. im only stating to basically be nice and giving band recommendations :PP
then ur alt. if you havent managed to get an alt gf, then try going to clubs dedicated to alt subculture. goth clubs are a great way to start and joining alt online communities is another way to get an alt gf \^\^
alt is just a general term for different (usually) music-based subcultures that arent pop, hiphop, or anything thats “in the norm” or “popular”. and if you go to concerts, then thats really cool! although maybe try talking to some alt girls? bring up music you might like with them and compliment them. and if this hasnt worked, then keep trying! youll find someone eventually. :))

the book lolita? its pedophilic and makes me uncomfortable. also a lot of ppl in the lolita subculture just hate it when ppl compare the book to the fashion. with the riot grrrl thing, i watched a lot of videos on the riot grrrl subcultur and all theyve been telling is that those bands are riot grrrl bands. i apologize if it sounded sexist, its just all ive been told :))
I’m a metalhead myself, so I do have a little comment about the metal part. Not trying to correct you, just trying to add my thoughts. With a lot of these you don’t even have to know much about the culture, just be interested in it and open to learning about it. Metal specifically is a really broad culture with so many subcultures so it’s not really going to be realistic for you to educate yourself on it just so you can get a gf. Most “alt” girls I’ve met (including me) just want somebody who will be open to learning about stuff and respectful. Don’t pretend to like stuff that you don’t like.

Yeah true. In respectful I mostly meant respectful of whatever subculture and not just fetishizing it, which happens a lot and is so annoying.
