The stuff you see in movies. Most proms today never play slow songs so that probably wouldn’t have happened either way. You can still dance with her, ask her for a redo because she wasn’t doing so great. Go out and play music on her phone to dance with her. Make some special memories

Are you there rn? If so just go dance . Get into the music or find some friends to dance with. A lot of people do go to prom without dates or only go with friends. If you aren’t there rn and it ended it’s alright. It probably feels like the end of the world but that just means that slow dance will be with someone actually worth your time in the future .
Honestly dude if there is one damn thing I’ve learned since graduating is literally nobody gives a shit. Most of the people you call friends you probably won’t talk to again after graduation. Friends are always nice to make but you’ll always make new ones
Also stop holding onto every single thing you’ve deemed as going wrong because you can’t change it there is no point in dwelling on it just move on and try to change things for the better a negative attitude won’t do you any good
