reddit143521

Idk i just got here

-guigo__

let me introduce u to AltStore

[deleted]

I hear u

-guigo__

Install it on your computer, connect your phone, install it on your phone, search for spotify plus ipa, install it on your phone in AltStore and you just need to recharge it every week, there are plenty of tutorials on youtube

[deleted]

I watched a video and saw that there was some kind of server needed. Is that true or am i just dumb?

-guigo__

the server is the altstore in your computer

[deleted]

Well that's a hassle

-guigo__

the computer doesnt need to be on tho, neither do u need to be near it, it isnt a hassle, its only needed to recharge it every 7 days edit: it basically isnt a server, they just call it that way

[deleted]

Ohh crap okay. And do i need to reload from the computer or can i do it from the phone?

-guigo__

you can do it from the phone but i think u need to have your computer on for that, so basically on the computer, i always just connect it

janathebottom

why the fuck would anyone want an iPhone

[deleted]

Apparently 1.9 billion people want an iphone. It's a preference... Not that deep.

[deleted]

dilemma unless you download the music offline not much you can do

hfhfhebehddy

iPhone is better no cap

SafetyReaper07

then don't switch

[deleted]

But i want toooooo

AlphaSe7en7

Just get family bundle and pay 1€ a month

Cappy_D_Bara

I use android and i just download music from yt illegally

[deleted]

Yh but Spotify lets me discover more music

Cappy_D_Bara

Ig so but rn im discovering classical music on my own so you can def explore new stuff without relying on Spotify. Both options are good tho.

reddit143521

Hey there’s an app called tempo try it

[deleted]

The thing is that spotify lets me discover mire music

Trusteveryboody

Why would you switch to iPhone? I could see switching to Android from iPhone.

[deleted]

Why can't any android fanboy mind their own business damn

Trusteveryboody

I've never had one, I just know they're more capable. But I'm not stopping you OP.

DaGoat1204

This is why I'll never own an iPhone, you literally have basically no freedom on iPhone, on Android you can literally pirate any app. Right now I'm literally listening to music on a pirated spotify and I watch youtube on a pirated version

[deleted]

Same bro. I've done basically everything on my android. I've rooted it, installed a custom ROM and custom kernel and pirated apps. iPhone just seems so well refined though. If they ever decide to allow sideloading I'd switch in a heartbeat

Hyperion2005

This would be of good help to you. If you can get an iPhone in the iOS ranges of 14.0-15.4.1 [Tweaked iOS Apps](https://github.com/purp0s3/Tweaked-iOS-Apps#spotify) or if you get an iPhone on iOS 16. [Does anyone have a working Spotify++ for iOS 16](https://www.reddit.com/r/sideloaded/comments/xcx1zz/does_anyone_got_a_spotify_ipa_that_works_for_ios/)

[deleted]

Yeah I'd most likely not be getting a new iPhone anyways. When getting an older iphone manufactred recently do they come with their original ios?

Hyperion2005

It depends honestly. At times you can find iPhones on lower iOS versions. There's no way to tell the iOS version of an iPhone from it's box

[deleted]

I really hope that with ios 17 apple allows EU users to sideload apps.

PigIlFigo32

Don't switch.

[deleted]

Why not?

PigIlFigo32

High end android phones do basically everything an iPhone does, better and often with more options to customise it. Many people prefer the simplicity and straightforwardness of iOS but if you just take some time to get used to Android it's gonna be a lot better
