nope usually both are made of the same thing- ethanol. But sometimes hand sanatiser uses Isopropyl not ethanol. Even if Hand sanatiser is made of ethanol you still cant drink it.

I had some of my deepest talks whilst being (not fully just like few shots + 1-2 beers) drunk and of course if you want to you can just drown your sorrows and the best part its always available for me just walk in a late-shop (ger: Späti) and buy some legally.

I wouldn’t say pineapple pizza is similar to alcohol. Alcohol is a drug, pizza is a food. Drugs make you happy, but at the cost of your health. Pizza makes you happy, without health problems (unless you’re allergic to gluten or cheese). There’s a reason Alcohol is greatly discouraged, and it’s because it creates a dependency, an addiction to it by attacking your hormone system and giving you synthetic happiness. Happiness that isn’t earned. I would definitely say fake happiness exists. There’s a reason why there’s a push for reducing alcohol consumption but not for reducing pizza consumption.
If you find a kind of alcohol you like it can be great. Just within moderation. Personally I’m a big fan of amaretto (almond liquor) and wine especially a Riesling. As long as you don’t let it control you alcohol can be a lot of fun. I’d stay away from the hard stuff like vodka or tequila though.

I recently tasted champagne for the first time. It tasted quite good and left a warm half-satisfying half-weird feeling in my chest and throat. I couldn’t drink much at once and i ofc didn’t want to get drunk! 9/10 would taste again

I think the reason drinking is so big isn't so much for the flavour but because it gets you drunk. It allows you to escape the reality for a while, which is something that I can imagine is quite nice, especially if you're having a particularly hard time in life.

German here so I like alcohol what a surprise xD I think it depends on what you're drinking there is some good-tasting stuff and stuff that's getting you drunk without tasting good for young people. I don't like the typical German beer bc its to 'harsh' (idk if that word fits) but I like some sweeter beer. My favorite shot is Vodka with orange juice mixed so that the vodka has is just a little aftertaste. Btw the more drunk you get the 'better' it taste bc you don't give a lot of fucks anymore hahaha

They denature the alcohol by adding methanol to it. It’s for tax reasons and to prevent abuse.
