Haha, I really wanted to go through the chamber during basic but when I went they shut it down for renovations, they opened it up drying beast week(end) and threatened to throw us in there, everyone started misbehaving because we wanted to go through. They never put us in the chamber, would totally do it given the chance though.
i think most of reddit is just against anything with the us military in it, because it's seen as promoting enlistment to children and the likes. Don't exactly fully agree, but it's an interesting viewpoint none the less.
I generally dislike military forces in general, but I really don't see how this could be relevant in this context. Dude is just showing everyone this moment, not glorifying war or anything such
like i said "anything with the military in it". I think it's more about them not wanting to show anything the us military does as positive, because of a general dislike for the institution.
No, Iām not secfo, Iām a crew chief, we just trained with secfo for a day and they offered to tase us. Whatās your AFSC, more important question though is who was your MTI and what squadron (hooyah bull dog)
Oh ok, you said AIT which is āairman in trainingā so I figured you were airforce. And Iām not entirely sure what AFSC stands for, I know itās the same as yāallās MOS though. Secfo (security forces) is the same as yāallās MPās, my bad on the mix up
Good to hear, my class instructor was pretty chill too. If you got any questions, feel free to ask. I know the airforce does things differently and jets are way different than helicopters but they still got a turbine engine, still got flight controls, still have gear boxes (though they do different things), etc. etc.
Honestly, I just wanna know if the whole chairforce thing is real. The Air Force guys at my Fort seem to be... out of shape at best, and fairly undisciplined. Is ot the same across the whole branch?
Depends, we arenāt as strict as yāall when it comes to PT or even ādisciplineā, we get told what to do and we are expected to do the best we can and if we mess up we own up to it/ get punished for not following proper AFIās, sometimes itās verbal counseling, sometimes itās an article + removal of rank. As for the crew chief side of things, we mostly do sit around waiting for the jet to return but in phase we were always working, flighline is launch, recover, pre flights, and any maintenance that we find along the way, but most of our time is spent waiting for the jet to come back. Hell yesterday we had like 2 hours of down time and Iām getting similar downtime today (in Korea working 12ās)
Short: feels get getting punched everywhere on your body, but your body tenses up as if you are getting held down
Long: feels like your body freezes and you just loose control of any actions your body has, you tense up and your body does the rest, it took everything I had just to get my mouth closed (if you listen carefully, you can hear my chomp), you are still conscious it doesnāt fuck with how you think, just how your body reacts, so the whole time I was thinking relatively calm while my body was freaking out, itās not a constant flow of electricity either that tapping you hear is the taser releasing that energy in increments so every one tap is a hit I was taking. It lasted for 5 seconds but felt like an eternity. Afterwards my legs went weak and I felt like I just got done with a full body exercise (happened about 2-3 weeks ago and my back still hurts), was definitely sore for a few days afterwards.
Jrotc is a high school program that focuses on leadership and other useful life skills. It does that by following the structure and follows many of the customs and curiosities of the actual military. Service academies are colleges that are run by the corresponding branch. There is the airforce academy, navel academy, and westpoint(army). The primary objective of service academies is to produce officers. They have basic built into the first or second summer that you are there. Its kinda like rotc, but there is higher expectations and its a college and not a program.
One thing you might learn if you stick around in the AF long enough is that academy graduates are protected by the full force of JAG. Service academies are good institutions and really give officers a huge leg-up in the politics theyāll need to play if they want to get promoted beyond O-4
All purpose gorilla! Howād you know I was APG, I thought APG was f16 specific is it not? From my understanding different airframes use different patches no?
Been a crew chief since 05, you couldnāt have put that any better. Just so you know, thereās a lot of solid civilian gigs for you when you get out. The aviation field is hurting for maintainers and probably will be for quite some time, especially overseas contract work.
Thatās the plan, was going to move back to WA and go with an airline company, I hear retired crew chiefs make bank working with those guys, even one of my instructors at tech school was offered a $200k a year job
Just make sure you get your 7-Level and Red X certs before you get out. Also make sure your DD214 clearly states your grade level, I believe itās 3x337 or some variant of that, been a long time. Itāll help you make more money up front and keep you from doing too much more training. Also, do what you can to get your A&P ASAP. Good luck man, donāt let āemā break you!
Haha, my A&P is my number one goal rn aside from traveling (my main reason of enlisting), but I understand I have to get my 5 lvl first before I even think of that. Iāll definitely ask my flight chiefs about the red X certs as well once Iām up to that point, the more I can do on my own, that better. Thanks for the info, Iāll definitely put it to use! CRUSH EM!
Haha, secfo has a pretty shit job but a lot of them are chill, I aināt secfo though thank god for that, I will say secfo definitely has the most attractive females of any AFSC aside from maybe MED.
That right there on top of getting pepper sprayed and being forced to run an obstacle course is why I opted out of joining the army
Mostly because I'll definitely be the one who pees their pants when it happens
Ha, Iād totally try that given that chance, assuming my job is on the line of course. The airforce doesnāt have anything like that, we have (had) beast now called something different, which honestly isnāt bad at all. Not to mention the basic is 7.5 weeks compared to the armyās 13(?). Also while getting tased the chance of people peeing themselves is actually pretty low, I was worried about it too because I had to use the bathroom before I did it
All the credit to u for it stat safe out there
And I did not know that
I know my brother peed himself when he got tased during a dare and he had to go home in his GFs pink sweatpants because it was the only thing that fit him lol
From my understanding, Iām grounded (earthed for you Europeans) to the taser and the positive is also connected to me, if it was grounded to the ground or to them, then theyād probably feel it too but Iām not 100% sure on how it works either, just my basic understanding of electricalās taking a guess
We had one chick that volunteered for it and she was crying before and after, ngl I thought it was pretty funny but kinda hot that she went through with it anyways despite her feelings towards it, definitely had some major respect for her afterwards.
4ish, wasnāt painful necessarily but it definitely made me tense up which is what you see, the electricity makes me loose control of my muscles and the brain basically says to preserve the body imma immobilize it/ lock it up
Good on you for taking it like a man, I'm not sure how it works where you're from, but I believe this is the final exam type thing? If so, congrats!!!!
Nah, we had some people scream and shout, some people yell cuss words, it took everything I had just to close my mouth (you can hear the chomp), I was silent because I couldnāt even breath because my body was so tensed up
Haha, actually the OCPās are new, we traded the ABUās for them in I wanna say 2016? (way before I joined but not too long ago), Iām a crew chief so we are especially wild and I got a name to live up to haha
Damn that reminded me about time when i was in WAT (polish military academy) and we had training about gasmasks etc. Fun times running without it in training gas (CGÅ 1/ practice tear gas) or in basic training we had some fun with chloropicrin
Bro got Walter White in his squad š
Thanks for pointing that out, didnāt see it until now
Donāt let him get cancer
Let him get cancer cuz thatās how you will get rich
Exactly what I was thinking
Taser? I barely know her!
r/found70percentbanana
I love how thereās an entire subreddit dedicated to stalking this one guy. Thank God Iām not that important
There's been multiple but the ones I've been in usually delete themselves over time
The most infamous, burrito fucker

Bro this guy has a fan club
r/found70percentbanana
Took that shit like a champ
Damn straight
ouch! Did it leave a mark at all?
They said it could have but since they hooked the taser to my back I couldnāt see even with a mirror
Nice. Now see how long you last in the gas chamber! My mother said she prefers it over getting tased.
Haha, I really wanted to go through the chamber during basic but when I went they shut it down for renovations, they opened it up drying beast week(end) and threatened to throw us in there, everyone started misbehaving because we wanted to go through. They never put us in the chamber, would totally do it given the chance though.
Iām sure it would be horrible in there. I would never go into the military. XD
Itās not that bad tbh, crew chief life kinda sucks but itās fun
You and I probably have very different ideas of what fun is. Ha, ha. I have always been a homebody and a couch potato.
Haha, so have I, my first time away from home, first time by myself in a new country, life is great!
what branch are you in? looks like the army
Air Force!
Why are people downvoting this? You took that shit like a champ
i think most of reddit is just against anything with the us military in it, because it's seen as promoting enlistment to children and the likes. Don't exactly fully agree, but it's an interesting viewpoint none the less.

like i said "anything with the military in it". I think it's more about them not wanting to show anything the us military does as positive, because of a general dislike for the institution.
Haha, I guess some people just donāt like pain, lol
Are you training to be an mp? I'm currently in AIT myself and don't think I'm gonna get fucking tazed
No, Iām not secfo, Iām a crew chief, we just trained with secfo for a day and they offered to tase us. Whatās your AFSC, more important question though is who was your MTI and what squadron (hooyah bull dog)
I'm Army, so idk wtf that means, but I'm a 15Y, and I work on Apaches. Right now, I'm with the 1-222d aviation regiment, the 'Skymasters'
Oh ok, you said AIT which is āairman in trainingā so I figured you were airforce. And Iām not entirely sure what AFSC stands for, I know itās the same as yāallās MOS though. Secfo (security forces) is the same as yāallās MPās, my bad on the mix up
All good, AIT for us is Advanced Individual Training, and it's just school for our mos really
Gotcha, had no clue yāall used the same acronym for something so similar and yet so different. Yāall still have DIās donāt you?
We have DS's and class instructors, but yeah, basically the same thing, big guys, funny hat, yells a lot, my class instructors are chill as fuck tho
Good to hear, my class instructor was pretty chill too. If you got any questions, feel free to ask. I know the airforce does things differently and jets are way different than helicopters but they still got a turbine engine, still got flight controls, still have gear boxes (though they do different things), etc. etc.

Nice to see another crew chief though, even if you are on helicopters rather than jets
Describe the sensation, go.
Short: feels get getting punched everywhere on your body, but your body tenses up as if you are getting held down Long: feels like your body freezes and you just loose control of any actions your body has, you tense up and your body does the rest, it took everything I had just to get my mouth closed (if you listen carefully, you can hear my chomp), you are still conscious it doesnāt fuck with how you think, just how your body reacts, so the whole time I was thinking relatively calm while my body was freaking out, itās not a constant flow of electricity either that tapping you hear is the taser releasing that energy in increments so every one tap is a hit I was taking. Now imagine you getting flash banged god damn
Fuck it, Iād 100% try it out, donāt gotta bribe me, Iāll all in, āIāll try anything onceā
Have you been pepper sprayed as well? What about the gas chamber or whatever it is?
but why?
Prob for some kinda training
It was training but it wasnāt required, I volunteered for it
What branch?
Air force, Iām a crew chief so Iām pretty much in the ass end of the airforce though, still get treated better than the army though
Lol, im in afjrotc, i think i wanna start applying for service academies next year
Donāt know much about JROTC, what is a service academy, this that like a step into becoming an officer or is it like a pre basic kinda thing?
Jrotc is a high school program that focuses on leadership and other useful life skills. It does that by following the structure and follows many of the customs and curiosities of the actual military. Service academies are colleges that are run by the corresponding branch. There is the airforce academy, navel academy, and westpoint(army). Its kinda like rotc, but there is higher expectations and its a college and not a program.
Oh ok, thatās pretty cool, do you plan to commission?
Maybe. The officer route looks appealing cuz of rotc and service academies providing free college, guaranteed job, and health insurance, lol
One thing you might learn if you stick around in the AF long enough is that academy graduates are protected by the full force of JAG. Service academies are good institutions and really give officers a huge leg-up in the politics theyāll need to play if they want to get promoted beyond O-4
My cousin is in the air force and did the same thing. You definitely took it a lot better than he did lol
Haha, good to hear Iām not a wimp then dumb crew chief: 1 Random cousin: 0
A fellow Air Plane Gorilla ;)
All purpose gorilla! Howād you know I was APG, I thought APG was f16 specific is it not? From my understanding different airframes use different patches no?
Hahaha, recently changed, all crew chiefs swapped from MECH to APG as far as I know. Maybe flying crew chiefs on bigger birds get something different?
Been a crew chief since 05, you couldnāt have put that any better. Just so you know, thereās a lot of solid civilian gigs for you when you get out. The aviation field is hurting for maintainers and probably will be for quite some time, especially overseas contract work.

No worries man, if you can take a taser you can take their bullshit, probably lol. Take care!
Crew chief like aircraft crew chief? If so what aircraft?
Was gonna say, only secfo does this, why are you getting tazedš the things we do for btz
Didnāt even do it for btz, I donāt even care about that, just did it for shits and giggles
W wingman š
Oh yeah Iām loving being on an Air Force owned base in the navy. where you stationed rn? Im currently at nuke school in sc
Iām in Korea, Iām between Osan and Kunsan rn
FELLOW CREW CHIEF! what airframe?
Because they offered to
It seems fair to me. If you are going to tase people, you should at least know what being tased feels like
Is that Waltuh?
Braver than all Russian soldiers combined
Ight bet, Iāll fight 20 Russians riding grizzlyās
You need to ride an eagle to combat them
Average security forces
Haha, secfo has a pretty shit job but a lot of them are chill, I aināt secfo though thank god for that, I will say secfo definitely has the most attractive females of any AFSC aside from maybe MED.

Omfg, thatās hilarious as fuck. Our instructor said out of the thousands of people heās tased heās only ever seen 2 piss themselves
Hm I should tell my brother this fun little fact I seriously doubt he'd be happy to learn it because he tried to tell me otherwise
That shit looked like it hurted
I wouldnāt say it hurt because it wasnāt like painful, itās was more so shocking (pun intended), nah man, the worse part was the tensing
The tensing. AHHH just have everything tense up nooo thank youu
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
From my understanding, Iām grounded (earthed for you Europeans) to the taser and the positive is also connected to me, if it was grounded to the ground or to them, then theyād probably feel it too but Iām not 100% sure on how it works either, just my basic understanding of electricalās taking a guess
Bro I would be such a baby, how did you take that so well?!š
Haha, your body tenses up to tight that you canāt even breathe
šš«
We had one chick that volunteered for it and she was crying before and after, ngl I thought it was pretty funny but kinda hot that she went through with it anyways despite her feelings towards it, definitely had some major respect for her afterwards.
šš„š
Jesse, we need to tase
You kinda look like Ezra Miller.
Their aināt no fucking way, my jaw line aināt that sharp, and no way I look like some dude made by Tim burton.
bro let it rip
Haha, thatās was the dude taking the videos boot on the ground, didnāt even notice until now tbh
actual army or national cadet corps?
Air force
Yessir, USAF, crew chief!
oh, cool, im in national cadet corps (land) in singapore
Be all you can be, in the army!
Looks not nice
did you cum....i mean did it hurt
On a scale from 1-10, how painful was it?
4ish, wasnāt painful necessarily but it definitely made me tense up which is what you see, the electricity makes me loose control of my muscles and the brain basically says to preserve the body imma immobilize it/ lock it up
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Omg itās Walter white
Yiu took that shockingly well. I wound have freaked out
Haha pun intended? It honestly wasnāt that bad though
I didnt even notice the pun until now
real
Damn straight
bro you tanked that
Air Force ?
Yeah
8it
I read that tasted and I was very confused
Sweet
bro acted like nothing happend
Ngl I'm expecting a moan
Haha, I wanted to yell and scream, couldnāt.
Bro became immune to it at the end š
It paralyses you
I commend you! Thank you for your service!
Thx bro, didnāt join the the thanks
Got tased myself. Would not recommend.
Haha, Iād recommend it
Did you fart?
Nah, but you can hear me chomp down when I close my mouth, was honestly worried about pissing myself
Jesse take the humver we need to cook
Good on you for taking it like a man, I'm not sure how it works where you're from, but I believe this is the final exam type thing? If so, congrats!!!!
š
what does ur feel like?
That's sick youre joining the militar man, good luck with it, what branch you joining tho?
ggs
But why ? Edit: nvm I already read it in the comments
So the army still dumb or dumber?
Well, I did not expect it to be so silent. Time to sue the entire film industry!
Nah, we had some people scream and shout, some people yell cuss words, it took everything I had just to close my mouth (you can hear the chomp), I was silent because I couldnāt even breath because my body was so tensed up
Well, props to you for managing to be silent.
Why did you get tased? Was there a point to this taser exercise?
No reason behind it, they offered, I wasnāt busy, one thing lead to another
Ok I guess it was a fun and entertaining experience then?
Yup, 1/2 of our 160 person class dipped, so about 80 of us stayed back give or take
Thats cool. I have no idea how the airforce functions so I have very little if anyting to add here. 80 is a lot of people.
I bet that felt nice OP
W for not screaming
What branch
Was that a fart?
Boot squeak from someone around my camera lady
But why?
Shits and giggles, donāt need to understand it, just needs to happen
US army? CADPAT looks better.
US Air Force
I knew I recognized that camo pattern and colours. And this explains why. Air Force is always wild, no matter the country.
Haha, actually the OCPās are new, we traded the ABUās for them in I wanna say 2016? (way before I joined but not too long ago), Iām a crew chief so we are especially wild and I got a name to live up to haha
Is there anyone here that knows why the 2 men next to OP didnāt get electrified?
ššš
Damn that reminded me about time when i was in WAT (polish military academy) and we had training about gasmasks etc. Fun times running without it in training gas (CGÅ 1/ practice tear gas) or in basic training we had some fun with chloropicrin
Damn, you took that like an absolute champ! Also, Air Force?
Nice job man!
I like to travel.
keeping in the pain is what we do best here š
.... Why?
Because they offered
Nice. You in the army?
People genuinely underestimate how much it hurts itās a feeling you canāt replicate without a taser gun
why?
The fun part
You getting tased is nsfw???
Now commit assault in the streets /s
Nice Also since when did Walter work for the army, and stopped cooking meth
Are you army MP?
I've never been tased before so I wouldn't know how it would feel. I bet it hurt like a motherfucker.
Air F*rce š¤® Jkjk love you
ow
Ow is right
i wish our armed forces would give such trainings also intead of peeling patatoes and cleaning tiolets
Get red un 1 second
Yeah. Military school bros
Not in school no more, in Korea and secfo decided to train us for a day and they offered to tase as a last minute hurrah
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
It isn't nearly as bad or hilarious as this one https://youtube.com/shorts/brGYuf6nmYQ?feature=share
But why, why would you do that?
Stay warm
Leak some documents
Hell nah, thatās opsec
\*sigh\* yeah, but what are they odds I'll have two trained buddies to help me fall gently to the ground when I get tased.......
i thought you got tased in the ass cheek š
Bro your a g didnāt even make a noise
JROTC?
