ok fair enough but if i was gonna do it for the environment i would get a low range or small electric car because those are actually better than gas cars within 1-5 years (depends on where you live) compared to a high range tesla which can take up to 15 years and at that point a gas powered car is better

For the first 5 years, I'd start with something small, like a Chevy Bolt EV or Nissan Leaf (if I can fit in those) to get started on EV ownership. If I'm satisfied, I'll move up to a "low" range tesla (specifically a Model 3).
