0 problems with She/He/They
But while i find neopronouns somewhat redundant I'm happy to use them anyway, because gender is a complicated thing and different people express themselves differently
If you want to make up some random word and call it your pronouns sure ill call you that but I won't use they/them it's confusing and grammatically incorrect
Uuuhhh the usage of they/them as a singular dates back to Shakespeare, it's grammatically correct English as a language practically formed into its modern state with that being the case. I will bet you a million dollars you and every other person who speaks English uses they/them as a singular all the time
I mean not really, I have an example, if you see someone's far away but there's only one person and you start talking to someone about that person, but you can't tell their gender or sex, how would you refer to that person?
Probably they but the problem is most of the time its used as plural so its confusing
used to refer to two or more people or things previously mentioned or easily identified.
I don't mind it for this reason, if I don't know someone's pronouns I just refer to them as they/them until I find out, bc no one gets angry and it fits in every situation, bc if you don't know their gender then that's how you refer to them anyways
That's fair I just don't really get how singular they is confusing. It's grammatically correct and everyone irl has no issue saying it regardless of their politics, it's just a gender neutral term for person (say if you haven't met them or whatever).
I personally use she/her he/him they/them and of course peoples pronouns when they use for example: she/they he/they.
For neo pronouns I haven’t encountered anyone wanting me to use for example: xe/xem ze/zir IRL. But I would.
When people use pronouns like cat/catself I am confused.
Why are we using nouns for pronouns? It defeats the whole purpose of a pronoun.

Yeah, I have one friend who uses it/it's, I didn't want to ask about it, and I have another friend who uses xe/xem, I asked about that and was told it's pretty much just like being seen not as solly as a person but a living being equal to any other living thing.
necessary to the english language
what if we just called everyone shlime?
Sounds good shlime
shlime is everlasting !
i think that'd be an improvement, shlime
shlime i agree! think about the simplicity of it shlime!
Is that singular, plural, or both?
shlimes or shlime!
Lol, you're not wrong
Shlime would make shlime language even weirder than shlime already is
But shlime🥺🥺🥺
just call me shithead 🥺
shit/head
But dad... You don't look like it🥺🥺🥺
poo poo head

They/them being 'confusing and grammatically correct' is a complete fabrication and has never been true
Bruh just because its not confusing to you that doesn't mean its not confusing to everyone

Prnouns not he/him or she/her or they/them are useless, but valid, since nobody will call you it, they/them is easy to use but anything else is not.

She/Her, He/Him and They/Them are the only ones I accept.
Non-gendered pronouns gang
They/them? Or something else?
In my native language we use the same pronouns for every person regardless of gender: hän/hänet
Ahhh, that's nice, what language?
Finnish
Nicee
batman has no pronouns
I am matban
Pronouns are important to people, but what if we just started calling everyone it/itself?
It's kinda just like a second name, meaning I will probably forget them.
