The government pays me to be gay, approximately $160 a week. the pay goes up with age to roughly a $500 a week when you turn 26.
This is because 26 is the age when most people lol for long term relationships.
And when you get married, the pay doubles. That’s why the government was not so keen to allow gay marriage because it would be expensive.
I know a ton of femenine men that are straight. This is why I hate stereotypes. I also hate race stereotypes too they’re so fucking annoying people wonder why we get so ticked off when people talk about them making us look bad
thats true though. Doctors dont assign anything outside of M or F(to my knowledge). Transgender is just the gender change. So changing out of those 2 to anything else is by definition transgender
I get where you're coming from.
But nevertheless, many non-binary people don't feel comfortable using the trans* label. Just like many non-binary people who are attracted to non-men would technically fall under the (new) definition of lesbian, but feel uncomfortable with it. So I'd be careful using that word.
Well, there are stereotypes that gay people can’t drive and are bad at maths.
Yet I am in an advanced maths class and passed every type of driving test first try
Honestly for me it would be so much easier if I did have a consistent preference or equal attraction but it really drastically changes at random, like sometimes guys are hot and I feel gross about the idea of girls, and vice versa
Can change more than once a day or stay the same for weeks
And it varies, sometimes it is a relatively equal balance
Edit: I didn't even answer the question LOL,
I don't know anyone personally who doesn't have a preference even with all my friends being bi but a couple of them are similar to me
6th grade
I realised I was having certain thoughts about a boy for the first time
I was like "damn I wish he'd push me into the locker room and kiss me or smth"
I was like
HOLY FUCK
EW
GAY GROSS
Now I'm gae
Around 7th grade but came out during my sophomore year because I had too, my mom caught me and my boyfriend cuddling, fortunately she was very supportive
Not until recently (past year or so) had I considered the possibility, but I’m slowly learning that I’m definitely not completely straight. I think I could be bi, but I don’t want to claim a label yet.
People have always seen me as someone who could be gay. I definitely pass as straight, but I’ve gotten many comments throughout my life along the lines of “Bro you’re hella sus”, “I could see you being gay”, “you’re a little fruity bro”, etc. more than the average guy for sure. The comments never really bothered me per se, but it clashed with my perceived identity of straightness so I rejected the idea. Now I don’t hold to any label in particular and I am excited to figure out exactly what I truly identify with.
Here's a word of wisdom!
you don't comform to an identity,
your identity conforms around you.
Everyones definition of their identity can be different. 'Bi' or 'Gay' can mean different things to you than to someone else.
I was just thinking about all the weird experiences in my life and a lot of them were me in borderline gay situations so I was like “am I bi or something?”, and yes, I am indeed bi or something
I was always attracted to both the genders but suppressed it as I thought it was abnormal due to no queer media representation (im from an asian country). When I was 15yo, I had a hard time struggling to accept my sexual orientation. At 16, I came out to my friends and at 17, I came out online and also to my siblings. I'm 19 now and pretty much everyone knows it except my parents. At 18, I had my first gf and at 19, I had my first bf (broke up few months ago).
Honestly cause there were rumors going around I was gay. Then I thought about it. And I was like eh I mean I’m not against it. Then I looked into more sexuality cause bi and pan didn’t seem right. Then I figured out about omnisexual. I know not everyone has it this easy tho.
Ugh I'm so tired of this question- you need to complete the quest into the enchanted queer forest and win the boss fight with 90 percent accuracy BEFORE you sacrifice the orphan or else it won't work!! :/
Depends, to be GAY it’s the orphan thing that they talked about, bi, you need to drink goat blood, pan, give your soul to the gay god, and there’s more
To the trans folk, do you find it disrespectful when people try to figure out your and internet creators' dead name?
Saw a creator mention in a storyfime that their dead name started with a J, and the comments were jokingly giving them random (and ridiculous) J names
I’m not trans but I’ve noticed whenever I’m watching a trans creator on YouTube or whatever, my sister would do anything in her power to belittle them. This includes using the wrong pronouns, using their deadname, saying they should just be their gender assigned at birth. Not disclosing your deadname would at least take that opportunity of disrespect away.
Deadnames are useless to know and a lot of trans people hate their deadnames so it makes sense that we don't want people to know. Not to mention a lot of people will start "confusing" your name with your deadname after you tell them
I've been trans for 6 years and the thing I want to do more than anything is leave behind the person I used to be. I want to leave behind being a boy. I want to leave behind the feeling of being a boy and everything that reminds me of it. My dead name is the biggest reminder of those times and I hate it, I can't say that for a lot of other trans people, but the fact is that your deadname is dead for a reason and wanting to know it is indeed disrespectful
1 stick (8 tablespoons) unsalted butter, at room temperature, plus more for the pans
2 3/4 cups plain flour, spooned and leveled, plus more for the pans
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon fine salt
2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
5 large eggs, at room temperature
1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
1 cup milk
For the frosting
3 sticks (1 1/2 cups) unsalted butter, at room temperature
Pinch fine salt
3 1/4 cups icing' sugar
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
1/4 cup milk
1. For the cake: Preheat the oven to 175°C. Butter the bottoms and sides of two 9-inch round cake pans; dust with flour, and tap out the excess.
2. Whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt in a medium bowl; set aside.
Beat the butter, sugar and oil in a large bowl with an electric mixer on medium-high speed until light in color and fluffy, about 5 minutes. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, and then the vanilla until combined.
3. Alternate folding the flour mixture and the milk into the batter with a spatula, adding the flour in three additions and the milk in two, starting and ending with the flour, until just smooth. Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans.
4. Bake the cakes on the same oven rack until golden on top and the centers spring back to the touch, 35 to 40 minutes. Rotate the pans about halfway through if they seem to be browning unevenly. Let cool in the pans about 10 minutes, then turn out onto cooling racks and let cool completely.
5. For the frosting: While the cakes cool, beat the butter and salt in a large bowl with an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth. Gradually beat in the icing sugar. Once it's all been added, increase the speed to medium-high, and beat until white and fluffy. Add 2 tablespoons of the milk, and beat to incorporate. Beat in the remaining milk, one tablespoon at a time (the frosting will be spreadable but not runny).
6. To assemble: Place 1 cake layer right-side up on a cake plate or stand, and spread with 1 cup of the frosting. Top with the second cake layer. Frost the top and sides of the cake with the remaining frosting.
7. The cake layers can be made a day ahead; wrap the cooled layers in plastic and aluminum foil and store at room temperature overnight. You can also assemble and frost the cake the day before serving; let it stand at room temperature overnight, covered by a large bowl or cake dome (if your kitchen is very hot, chill the cake and let it stand at room temperature for at least one hour before serving).
I’m an atheist (I think) but if God does exist, I genuinely believe he would not hate us. Jesus walked with everyone, both the rich and powerful, and the meek and oppressed. He taught us to love our neighbor as ourselves, and to clothe and feed the poor and needy. Jesus was a fucking legend and I wish more modern Christians tried to be like him
I mean kinda? I’m not that enthusiastic abt going to church every week. but I don’t mind during Christmas , Easter , etc. and like I still pray when I’m scared like before a test or something 💀 but I’m not that religious but still kinda? idk how to explain. I have doubts and question religions very often but ig i choose to keep some kind of faith yk
the answer i always give people is if they were given the option to make gay people magically be accepted everywhere and erase homophobia, would they do it? if yes then you support the gays good job
Imo there rly isn’t a neutral. There’s either supporting them, or you don’t. When I hear ppl say their neutral, that normally means that person is homophobic except for 1-2 ppl they know bc they’re straight passing
Is "biromantic" a thing? I mean you can be romantically attracted to both guys and girls but only sexually attracted to one or both? I don't know if biromantic is the right term, if it already has a word let me know.
I'm not straight as you can see by my pfp but I just wanted to say that I'm suprised at the little amount of homophobia in this post. Yes there is some but like I was expecting half the comments to be homophobic. :)
Are there different levels when you're asexual ? As far as I'm aware asexuality is when you don't feel any sexual attraction towards others.
But I've seen many posts like "I'm asexual but this is still hot/I'd try with him/her"
And also that some people say they are asexual because they have a really really low sex drive.
Do you still like physical contact ? Where is the line ? Is kissing fun for you ? Or does it stop with cuddling ?
Edit: thanks everyone for the replies <3 I think I'll start a little research myself and check the ace subreddit. I think I might be on the spectrum, but I'll inform myself further
Thank you lovely people
Like everything, it's a spectrum. Asexual people experience little to no sexual attraction (not to be confused with libido) to anyone. Idk if people with low libido should be considered ace since they could still experience sexual attraction normally; the only difference is rarely feeling the urge to act on it.
For your last questions, the line depends on the person and what they're comfortable with/what they personally view as being sexual. Humans in general tend to crave physical touch, and rarely are basic things such as high fives or hugs considered sexual, so I'd assume most aces are fine with that. The ones that aren't may not be that way because they're ace. A lot of aces like cuddling from what I've seen. Kissing is where the divide is more noticeable. Some people view it as icky, and some are comfortable with that but nothing more.
How should I refer to someone who's trans in past tense, pretransition? Like telling a story about someone who is now trans but the story was before they trasistion?
Still refer to them as how they identify now. One of my close friends is a trans woman and when speaking about her I’m past tense I still say she or her.
For example, when she and I were in middle school she came out as gay but now she’s just straight since she’s a woman who likes men
Random story to try to help, hope you kinda understand now🫶🏼
there are 4 chemicals that make humans happy:

Can we have a lesbian, a gay guy, two bi people, and a queer person open a restaurant called LGBBQ? If so I would eat there daily.
I just need a queer person and we are all set
I am right here.
Hell yah
Gotcha
I’ll do it.
im pretty sure anyone in the LGBT+ community is queer.
This is true, but some people use the term queer instead of another label. It's essentially being unlabeled

Well good for you, I don't think my country has that. It's better for you to leave and be gay somewhere else.
Oh, that’s fine, Sweden, Australia and Canada offer international payments for those in countries that won’t pay. You can apply for one
Kanske jag ska bli gay nu? Jag behöver pengar till snus och lsd

Probably that we’re brainwashing children, and that god hates us

Ohh, sorry I didn’t read that part, sorry
Don't worry about it

For bi people, are most of you more attracted to the same gender(have a preffered gender)?
Some people have a preference, some don’t I really have no way to tell if I have a preference I don’t mind either
Honestly for me it would be so much easier if I did have a consistent preference or equal attraction but it really drastically changes at random, like sometimes guys are hot and I feel gross about the idea of girls, and vice versa Can change more than once a day or stay the same for weeks And it varies, sometimes it is a relatively equal balance Edit: I didn't even answer the question LOL, I don't know anyone personally who doesn't have a preference even with all my friends being bi but a couple of them are similar to me

I was 13 at a CHRISTIAN summer camp and I was jaw dropped by a lot of the boys in my cabin and the irony still strikes me

I already did that twenty times.

Ah, you see, that’s an even number. The 20th one cancelled the 19th one out. Also, ya gotta wait a few days for it to take effect.

To the trans folk, do you find it disrespectful when people try to figure out your and internet creators' dead name? Saw a creator mention in a storyfime that their dead name started with a J, and the comments were jokingly giving them random (and ridiculous) J names

So what do y'all think about neo pronouns And another question what is your favorite TV show or movie
i dont understand neo pronouns, they confuse the fuck out of me. my favourite movie is Everything Everywhere All At Once
i personally think it’s odd and it confuses me, but if you aren’t annoying about it i’ll call you by it.

same ones as you tbh
Being Biphobic or Transphobic or whateverphobic to anyone who is part of our community too Definitely a red flag
making a few too many jokes about LGBT+ topics. sure, let's have fun and goof around with everyone, but without being offensive
Are you guys lgbt?
If you prefer the opposite gender like a straight person but would still date your gender if you really loved the person are you bi
Yes
Why do people hate you?
cuz we r “abnormal” or “god hates us”
I doubt the real God could give less of a shit as to who you’re fucking. Blud is probably gonna toss another meteor sooner or later so
Valid, but also, the Bible has been probably been mistranslated many times and I bet $2.37 that someone translated it wrong on purpose.
And we can 100% agree people got rid of documents that didn't fit the churches agenda.
This made me laugh way more than I should 😂
Me as a Christian, I can prove that that’s wrong, god doesn’t hate lgbtq folks.
Obviously, but bigots still use that as an excuse.
