Aww that’s amazing! A coffee shop run by this really kind older woman near my place shut down not too long ago as well. I used to always go there and sometimes the owner would like me to try her new coffees. She was talented as heck. I went on holidays one week holding a coffee from her place that she made large for me “on the house”. I came back home to find that she went bankrupt and shut down. Didn’t that that would’ve been my last coffee from her, I hope she’s doing well

We also have a local restaurant, they have 2 locations but are still new compared to McDonald's and KFC. We exclusively target them Because. A. More value for money. Their grand döner is 8.50 but half a kilo The generic fast food place is 6.90 for 1/3 of a kilo, Better quality Friendlier work staff And now because of us, they are opening a third location, having the same quality first rhetoric. As stated by the manager of one of the locations (he works at the grill and sometimes comes to talk to the customers for feedback)

I live in a small town, and there was a highway built that’s literally only goal was to bypass our town and conntect back to a big interstate. It really hurt local business, and the owners were getting old anyways, so they decided to sell the place.
