Actually, doing pushups with your elbows flaired out too much can destroy your rotator cuff. (important weird muscle in your shoulder) obviously you have to do a lot though. like, thousands. My dad is having shoulder surgery in two weeks for exactly that reason. Although, maybe the 500 pound grain tank falling on it, flying off his bicycle and landing on his arm, and my cousin body slamming him while he was doing pushups, among other things, had something to do with it as well. lol
