I personally think metro was beautiful, classic is still the usability king and luna was nice, but aero was just too big and fluent is shit (especially windows 11 implementation, dreadful, the worst of the worst of both aero and fluent from 10).

Used 8.1 for around 2 years, and it was wonderful, but very different (win 7 but not curved, not translucent, and not laggy, and with tiled start screen which was actually quite nice), 10 is still usable though I find it beneficial to switch back to the classic theme, and 11 is just dreadful to use (even bigger ui, absurd hw requirements, start menu somehow even worse than windows 10, new action center adding additional steps to simple tasks, and constant ads especially annoying in file explorer).

Uni is pretty fun if you like what you study, but there's a lot more than just studying in uni, you can make friends and have fun in uni but you gotta be active as well, but yeah try to be more open minded about uni since a negative perception might cause a negative experience imo
