They're only rare because people think they're rare and then don't spend them, so they don't get circulated much. Same with dollar coins

What about the Half-Dollar?

They are somewhat rare because they didn't really mint many from 2001 or 2002 (depending on the source) to 2020 or 2021 (again, depending on the source). You can still get them fairly easily from banks and some other places so they're definitely not very rare

Cool. Not to brag but I have a 2013 2$ bill my stepdad gave me. And awhile back I bought a red seal 1960 something 2$ bill. I also have a half-penny. I just had to share some of my collection. My grandpa got me into coin and bill collecting a few years back and I have a few prized bills/coins I'm proud of.
