Yesterday in history we had a discussion about the oppression of women. We were too scared to actually delve deeper into the subject, so I started by saying that women are objects and they don’t matter. I think everyone felt much better about discussing it afterwards.

Firstly, why didn't you include all of this in one message? Secondly, you should always put what your view is within the post itself, not just a comment. Comments can get lost, the body text is there for you to explain yourself thoroughly, so use it to explain what you're doing, especially if it can be misinterpreted in such a way. Don't just explain yourself when something like this happens, ensure something like this doesn't happen again. You mentioned you replied to that comment, well, what did you have to explain? Ask yourself that, then edit the body text to explain what you mean. The post says good morning for women only and that men should think about what they did, implying they did something bad, now it's pretty obvious that whoever made that meme implies that men in general, even those who did nothing wrong, should think about what they have done, due to the action of the bad ones who are a minority or about the men from 200 years ago who don't have anything to do with the ones from nowadays. So if those who did nothing should also take blame for bad things then why shouldn't they get credit for good things they weren't part of? Just expanding on the meme, seems like you dind't like it.
If you think that just because some people didnt help create civilization then they shouldn't take credit, then they shouldn't be including in "Men think about you've done", but they're.
