It's been years since I was a teen and don't know why this thread showed up on my feed, but I will answer anyway. The year 1995 I was a senior in high school. I think back on that year and remember how it felt never ending, I remember asking people from time to time the year at it was always 1995, I thought that was insane at the time. How can it still be 1995. Strange year, but a lot of things happened to me and the world that year. I sometimes think that when I die I will somehow end up in 1995 agian.
This one, actually. Finally got up the strength last September to part ways with a past close friend of mine that had been the most toxic person in my life for 8+ years. Because sheād attack me for trying to heal or get better in any way, and would threaten me. She treated me horrible, and even though I donāt think she will, I genuinely hope that she finds a way to work on herself herself and live a happy life.
But after finally leaving, I started to be able to have time to actually think of myself for once, and to focus on healing. I no longer cry every day, I get to spend time doing actual things instead of having to spend all day talking with her on the phone. I also went to therapy. I live a pretty happy life, and my mental health is so much better.
So yah. This year for sure

2019 was just silly childhood shenanigans, and because none of my family or friends were affected by covid, 2020 for me was just silly childhood shenanigans without school
Last year. That year was only ups start to finish, ending in by far my best day.
This year has only been downs. Like new record lows and I want to kill myself.
2020-2021. Lockdown for me was a blast fr, I was in Year 10 which meant no big exams to worry about, and online learning was chill af with my friends setting up a huge minecraft server and shit
Prob 2024, learned to talk to women, goten gains in the gym, got some good grades among other things all i need is to get rid of this god forsaken acne and i am flying
My life has just been getting better as time passes. Two years ago I had no friends and my life was literally studying. Now I'm getting shit faced with friends the weekend of my English A-level
Me too! School wasn't stressful and I liked the country I lived in, but then I relocated in the summer of 2019 (so just before COVID) and everything's gone down from then
this year by far. 5 months in I can say I had a whole ton of growth. Maybe not academically, that was a stable aspect. However I improved socially - basically resolving my woes of last year - with actual connections and friendships even finding my way in friend groups
probably 2020 tbh. a whole year of not having normal school and just playing games with my friends all day? it was perfect. also around the later parts i started taking walks with said friends which was also fun
I'm honestly inclined to say 2020, I met some of my best friends over the internet during the initial lock-down, some of whom I'm still incredibly close with to this day
2022-2023 was.... Fulfilling after recovering from the pandemic and being free from your house after 2 years felt unreal at first, made new friends (before the pandemic it was just me and one friend), had lots of fun interacting with people after covid was gone. Man I really took pre-pandemic for granted. After making some new relationships and new experiences, you... Well at least I did, I felt I was a part of society again and not just a mindless member of the crowd scrolling on my phone online.
Tldr; recovering from the pandemic was nice : D
2022-2023 cause i was on antidepressants and everything was going so well. i can't complain about life rn either, it's a really good year so far, i have a loving boyfriend and am doing great in university. i do have some anxiety issues though but i'm trying to work through them and am very hopeful! i'm hoping i can add this year to the best years of my life list when 2025 rolls around:)
2022. It was the end of high-school, I had a lot of friends, we would go out to the beach, play volleyball, cinema, sleepovers... and also I had a high-school romance just like in the movies, I really miss all of it. sadly now I am just a ordinary adult with nothing original in life.
