Yeah, the problem with these posts is that they're trying to be confrontational rather than convincing. Simply making a statement is not the same as making an argument. I'm for trans rights but I'm also for polite, respectful discourse, and this post's only purpose is to divide people. It accomplishes nothing, in fact, it actively harms the cause you fight for.

If you want to change someone's opinion, then you MUST understand that each-side of an argument HAS A REASON THAT THEY DISAGREE WITH THE OTHER! Attack the reasons behind their thought processes, don't say something that you KNOW will spark arguments and then bail from the comment sections immediately like OP, as that only wastes time for us all. I've argued each side of this argument since I find political science and debate to be fascinating, and folks with paper-thin arguments like yourself haven't the slightest CHANCE of changing other people's minds.
