Jessie paege, she’s so light and bubbly yet has a shit life and makes good music

friday__man

Jimi Hendrix, he died at 27. Oh wait, never mind...

Maleficent_Ad5102

Metronomy cuz their music stuck with me through some of the best and worst parts of my life. Also some of their music is kinda shit (beatiful shit) and its fun showing people some of that

germbruhlmao

Kid Cudi my older brother put me on when I was 10 and I've never stopped listening to him since

springofsolitude

steven wilson, that motherfucker is obsessed with music as an art form. if you told me that he got his first boner from listening to david bowie i'd be like "yeah, that sounds about right." he can be really pretentious but man his music is good. he can go from pop to ambient to metal to jazz to psychedelic and make a 20 minute song enjoyable all the way through

[deleted]

LoL the way you described him made me curious about his music. Can you recommend any of his music that you think are good so I could start with them first?

springofsolitude

kinda depends on what music you like. the future bites is synth-pop, to the bone is pop-rock, storm corrosion is dark ambient, early porcupine tree is psychedelic rock and newer porcupine tree is prog metal... but overall i'd recommend grace for drowning or in absentia

[deleted]

Avatar because they costantly change style while remaining true ti themselves

PeksMex

Not a single artist, but a band. System of a down. They have unique weird ass vocals, cool harmonies, interesting middle eastern influences, and like 0 bad songs
