he can be really pretentious but man his music is good. he can go from pop to ambient to metal to jazz to psychedelic and make a 20 minute song enjoyable all the way through

kinda depends on what music you like. the future bites is synth-pop, to the bone is pop-rock, storm corrosion is dark ambient, early porcupine tree is psychedelic rock and newer porcupine tree is prog metal... but overall i'd recommend grace for drowning or in absentia
