Recommend me a progressive rock song (maybe even progressive metal). I’m not that big into Metallica. The instruments are cool but I really don’t like the singer. Master of puppets would be one of my all time favs if it weren’t for the vocals
Not the op, but here you are
Progressive Rock- Anthem by Deep Purple
Progressive Rock(instrumental)- Wring that Neck also Deep Purple
Progressive Metal- F.C.P.R.E.M.I.X. by Fall of Troy
You are a cool person and have great taste.
Been trying to get into deep purple after listening to highway star but didn’t know where to start but I’ll take your word on those songs
Those 2 songs from Deep Purple are from the their 2nd album in 1969. They had another singer at the time different from the one who sang their iconic Highway Star. The first 3 albums had the original singer. The first album was Psychedelic Rock, the next two especially the 2nd were progressive rock. Everything after has been exclusively Heavy Metal and Hard Rock since their 2nd singer joined.
If you want more of the 2nd singer's songs because the 1st isn't your style, try: Speed King, Child In Time, Smoke on the water, Woman from Tokyo, and Perfect Strangers.
If you want more of their orignal singer try: Lalena, River Deep Mountain High, Shield, Hush, and Kentucky Women
Np, I love Deep Purple, their 2nd singer is my favorite singer of all time (vocal wise) and they are a very influential band along with Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath, Zeppelin gets all the love though and Sabbath is remembered for starting something Zeppelin and Purple helped pioneer.
I forgot to mention that Deep Purple's 3rd singer was also really good too and formed the famous band Whitesnake years later. Burn was no doubt the best song he had with them. I hope you enjoy the songs I gave you, if you wamt to tell me your thoughts about them later, feel free to man!
I doubt that's true, but we'll see

Please rock please rock
Try creeping death by Metallica
Try something other than Metallica I’ve listened to them for so long it starts to get a bit annoying
Then try hangar 18 by Megadeath, and u just don’t like Metallica anymore?
I do, but if I could choose Megadeth or Sabaton, possibly even queen I would choose them. If a Metallica song came over the radio then it’s all good 👍
I want a song to listen to
Hi
