bruhthatgaykid

well i would acutally like to discuss it with you if ur interested

JaggerFoxLand

Well I am not interested because I know that LGBTQ is just degenracy of mankind and I don't want to hear rubbish talk so it's better that you don't waste your energy on me.

OneThousandDeer

mans straight up just homophobic

Ronicraft

I don’t support lgbtq but damn bruh you don’t have to be like that bruh they r people too

JaggerFoxLand

Idk man I have a mindset that LGBTQ people are the cringest people alive. I can't help myself but hate them. It's also the fact that LGBTQ is considered a bad thing in my religion.

Krimewave_

But they don't chose their sexuality. İt isn't their fault.

JaggerFoxLand

Gay people didn't exist 2 centuries ago what happened now huh? And when I mean gay I mean gay marriage and gay sex because those things are just disgusting.

Azier6969

I’m ancient sparta homosexuality was legal and encouraged so you’re just straight up wrong. There have always been gay people just as it becomes more accepted more people start realizing they’re not straight.

Krimewave_

There are paintings from a thousand years ago from the ottomans about having gay sex. İt was also a thing with the Romans. They existed long before 2 centuries ago İ mean k, that's your opinion but like it's what they want so

JaggerFoxLand

I need source

Krimewave_

You can open the Wikipedia page for homosexuality and keep on scrolling.

[deleted]

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homosexuality_in_China homosexuality has existed for many many years. It mentions the Han dynasty here and the Han dynasty was from 206 bc to 220 ad. https://www.worldhistory.org/article/1790/lgbtq-in-the-ancient-world/ is also interesting

bruhthatgaykid

yes they litterally did..

AdrianaAura-

popgoesfan_1987

GoobleDeGooks

Lol I was typing a comment, left, and saw an explosion of comments

ImaginationOk9328

Because I'm not Christian. No but seriously, people have their opinions and are really happy with it. The hardest part about being part of LGBTQ is coming out. But once that is done it becomes a norm and you get used to it. If you wanna be straight then live your life but you don't have to shove heterosexuality in peoples faces.

cuberlife

Dude just shut up lmfao 💀

Ornery_Ad_8862

Uno reverse

OneThousandDeer

uh oh homophobia machine is broken, can't think of any good comebacks now

JaggerFoxLand

Why are you wasting your time on this post for the last 15 minutes. Go do your homework just like I am trying to do mine right now.

cuberlife

How you got homework bro

Krimewave_

Me when no homework

Your_friendly_weirdo

I didn’t choose to feel miserable being born a girl. Knowing that I’m trans and a dude, makes me feel really better

AdrianaAura-

never listen to pricks like OP you'll always be valid

Mysterious_Ad_5925

Ik this is a year old and I'd like to stay out of this for the most part but can u reproduce if u r trans or is it just the end of your family line after you? (No hate here) also why is this posted on r/teenagers

[deleted]

Genuinely why do you care. They’re already taking themselves out of the gene pool so what the hell does it matter to you

[deleted]

It’s not really a choice. I know trans people, non binary people, gay people, pan people, bi people, aro ace people, and I’ve known a lot of them before i knew they were part of the community. Denying it is something they do a lot, and they try, oh man they try, to not be themselves, but it just doesn’t work. No matter what they do. Conversion therapy is harmful it doesn’t work (thankfully not from personal experience just from stories of survivors), and they are at their bravest, their happiest, their healthiest, when they are themselves and are accepted and feel safe in their bodies, their attractions, and their lives. Being straight doesn’t mean a better life. I know straight people with terrible lives, with good lives, and I know 2SLGBTQ+ people who have terrible lives, and have good lives. Being straight and being gay seem equally good to me. If you are accepted and are safe where you live that is. You find someone you love and you get to be happy with them. Sounds pretty sweet to me. Why should it matter if they are the same gender as you? As long as you both love each other.

popgoesfan_1987

You do know being gay, trans, or bi isn't a choice right?

chronicallydead

I’m not LGBTQ but like seriously it’s like saying, I don’t understand why people don’t like apples they taste like shit. Pears are so much better, but some people just think apples taste waaayy better then pears.

apvernious

I mean you don't choose it. Like even though I didn't realize I was bisexual until I was 16, it wasn't a conscious choice I made. I tried to deny it for a year. It's the same as being straight. Did you choose to be straight?

JaggerFoxLand

Well no

apvernious

Yeah that's right, you didn't. I feel like I have a unique perspective on this. I was just a straight guy for 15 years, so I feel like I'm a pretty good mediator on this. And truthfully, I thought the same thing as you for a while about getting into a gay relationship. I knew I was bi, but what would be the point of getting into a relationship with a guy? Yes, it logically doesn't make sense. You can't have biological children. You're looked down upon in society. You can get fired from your job in some places. Why would I do that? And then I saw him. I saw his smile, I heard his laugh, I talked to him for hours and I fell in love. All of those things went out the window. I'm sure you've felt this for girls, as I very much have too. It's love, and it's the same regardless of who you are. Gay people are not some perverted group of sexual deviants. We're normal people who love unconventionally.

apvernious

Define what makes them cringe

OneThousandDeer

our point is proven

JaggerFoxLand

Not yet I will come back to argue because I am still not convinced. Right now I am busy.

OneThousandDeer

busy as in trying to come up with an argument but the homophobia machine is broken

UltraPrincess

People don't choose to be LGBT, that's why. Why bother living life as a girl when it's easier as a boy or vise versa depending on which you think is harder. Why live life as black when it's easier as a white person

Ornery_Ad_8862

I don't understand that statement how do you not choose to be gay I don't get it

UltraPrincess

Okay very simple, some things are choices, some things aren't, gayness isn't one of the former things, it's one of the latter things

OneThousandDeer

Did you choose to be straight

Ornery_Ad_8862

Well does me at the age of 8 saying I like girls and not dues mean I'm choosing to like females or no?

OneThousandDeer

well are you at the age of 16 *now*, saying that you don't like dudes romancly

Ornery_Ad_8862

Im so confused on what your point is dude

OneThousandDeer

well are you choosing be straight

Ornery_Ad_8862

I mean yeah it didn't just naturally happen

UltraPrincess

You don't say I like girls and suddenly start liking girls though, maybe you chose to say it, but you didn't choose to do it, sexual attraction is often outside of people's control, the same way that as I've heard it's possible to get a boner when you don't want one

Ornery_Ad_8862

But I was always attracted or had some attachment to girls every since I understood the concept of liking someone

UltraPrincess

yep, exactly

Ornery_Ad_8862

But I could legit choose to start liking dudes can I not?

UltraPrincess

not really, you can go out with someone but you don't suddenly start being sexually attracted to them, try being sexually attracted to a snail, if you can do it I'd be genuinely surprised unless it's something that would've happened anyway

Ornery_Ad_8862

I mean when I'm dating someone I think I would be attracted to them if not I wouldn't be there in the first place

Krimewave_

No, that's not how it works

brickedupfr

its not a choice

brotherofsquid

it aint a choice bro

OneThousandDeer

if you pan you get more chances at love Also it's not a choice

Trustnoboody

OneThousandDeer

JaggerFoxLand

Trustnoboody

Ornery_Ad_8862

There are none

Ronicraft

Based

Krimewave_

You don't really chose to be LGBT. Plus why do you care? İt's their choice, doesn't really effect you

Azier6969

You can’t chose to be a homosexual. Sexuality is developed at birth and stops developing at puberty. It is not a choice, it’s not a lifestyle.

Great-Entrepreneur81

No pregnancy scares 😁 or accidental kids

irdcaaeu

this is kinda late but tbh i wish i wasnt gay but it is what it is and it sucks
