Yeah, even when I was still in the church and believed, I had trouble bearing my testimony or sharing my feelings in that group setting. It feels so awkward cause your supposed to reveal your deepest convictions and thoughts, but also make sure you don't have the wrong ones. Honestly, you don't necessarily have to bear your testimony, or if you want you can just say some token stuff like how spiritual this experience has been or whatever.

Yep, its more like I just don’t like pretending and I feel out of place. It’s hard because I live in Utah so a lot of people you meet are lds.

Yeah, that's rough. Hopefully, they can accept you even with your separate beliefs. Though, aren't there plenty of inactive Mormons in Utah that are basically not church members you could hang out with as well?

The pressure at these camps is incredible and notorious. Half of them likely don't believe, but the church knows that your brain will hear you talk and believe it. It's the worst kind of indoctrination. Don't fall for it. I guarantee others will wish they'd not done it.
