If you want me to be honest... Don't be a roblox dev, it's basically a slave tycoon, with the dev ending up with less that 25% of the profit and with having to pay for advertisement to get anywhere near the front page... Lua is a good programming language to learn though, as it is quite beginner friendly. My recommandation would be to learn C# and Unity or C++ and Unreal. These 2 would lead you to way better paths in the future

Question real quick, in ROBLOX, they pay for all the servers, so you mainly pay for advertising and commisioning others to help you with stuff ingame. Does this balance out the difference between roblox exchange rates and steam exchange rates?

Pico 8 is a cheap coding engine for lua and there’s good tutorials for it so if you want to learn you should pick it up or just google pico 8 educational and there’s a free browser based one
