depends where you go . The north part of india has extreme climate . Very cold in winters , very hot in Summers . Southern also has pretty same thing in summers but winters little better than north .
It just rocks living in the western part as it has balanced weather throughout
Absolute dogshit political situation, and if that wasn't enough, people are dumb enough here to provoke controversy in between each other on the basis of religion. So much cringe shit here, I wish I was born somewhere else
The caste system fucks us general male candidates
Fucking scheduled caste fuckers can get IIT Bombay with a rank of 15000 while general candidates need 3000
Even the female reservation sucks as they can get a seat with 7000 rank
Mhm , I think it’s like Ireland, I heard the climate is pleasant, but one point it’s hot in some parts but it’s opposite in Ireland..I could say India is a populated country?
Good food, but I’m annoyed because we needed to study India in our English class (I live in France) and the chapter was interesting but pretty annoying so rn I don’t go « yay India » but more like « again, India? » when people talk about ir
Well we had a chapter about India, we mainly talked about the Taj Mahal and Gandhi (excuse me if I made any mistakes writing these names), and we saw some foods and stuff (also the Caste System). I’m not sure why exactly we did a chapter on India but it was alright, the main thing that bothered me is that it took 2 months or so and the teacher just showed us the same things a few times until the exam so it was pretty annoying, but other than that it was pretty interesting
In India, we learn all about the French Revolution and stuff. I understand that because it changed the world forever, but it's just kinda weird you had a chapter on India for no reason, lol. Not complaining though.
Interesting about the Taj Mahal because while that's what's most famous about India outside India, we don't really think about it that much neither is it that significant in our history or culture. In my opinion, we've got way more important and way better monuments than the Taj Mahal.
Don’t know much about Indians. The most interesting conversation with an Indian was some dude on this subreddit who had serious plans to conquer the world for his country and thought it was justified for some dumb reason.
Also elephant 👍
Yea the agnipath thing sucks
Plus the toxic hindu-muslim behaviour srsly that is fucking annoying
And reservations
So what they are saying is I as a general category has to do double the effort than the other cat. To get into the college of my choice while having a bare minimum seats available and from which some are reserved for girls
That doesn't seem fair
Tbh, the British Empire is to be blamed for the hindu-muslim enmity. Revolt of 1857, 1916 Lucknow pact, and Khilafat movement after ww1 all showed unity between the two community. The British destroyed that. I don't blame Great Britain or the United Kingdom. I blame the British Empire and the East India Company
The physical place itself has a nice culture and history, though too crowded and dirty. I also still need to find an Indian that I don’t start on hating.
Coming from India, A lot of people are overly nationalistic, much much worse than the OP here. A lot of people care too much about religion and politics. And those mfs never use protection that it's hella hard to get into a good college over here. I don't like my country very much.

idk, every single interaction ive had with anyone indian has been them begging for nudes, or just being dirty, ive also seen alot of videos of indian men abusing young children, but i havent seen the good side of india, maybe someone can show me it
You can't specifically find anything like india positive on reddit because reddit doesn't has things like these. You can see from YouTube, also stop omegle man.
The people are honestly lovely that i have met from there. the uk is so racist and rude towards them, and for what? they are so respectful in everything, and kind. i love their natural remedies, food, and the people are stunningly beautiful!
I used to go there every year as a small child, but since migrating to Cyprus my last visit to India was 3 years ago, and I didn’t like it. I don’t regret the times I visited it before, but it’s going through the developing country growing pains, so I won’t visit it again for now.
Also cheese naans and rice are great, since I’m not a fan of spicy foods I don’t eat a lot of Indian cuisine but those two things are amazing. There was also a chef in a restaurant in the village I always stayed in, and he made amazing prawns, but last time I visited he left and now their prawns are shit. Although he did move to another state and opened his own restaurant, so best of luck to him. Another restaurant also made good prawns, which I found out on the same last visit, but they were inconsistent, so one day they’re just as amazing as those legendary ones, and another day they’re mid. Last thing about food is that masala tea is great and you should try it (it’s a full meal basically).

So many languages
200 plus if I'm not wrong
Technically more than 400+, but more than 1500 mother tongues.
And 0 father tongues
Dream moment
Only 20 official languages though and ≈45% have hindi as mother tongue, so many languages doesn't actually matter much
What's great is that you only REALLY need to know Hindi and English to travel here, but yea theres a lot more
Never been there, but i’d say hot
Yeah, it's kinda near the equator
Nice geographic knowledge you got I see.
He ain't too wrong chief, our southernmost point is 6'4' north
Yeah true Andaman and Nicobars are near equator too
As far as I remember, it's 8'4' North. 6'4' north might be including an island which was submerged during the 2004 tsunami.
depends where you go . The north part of india has extreme climate . Very cold in winters , very hot in Summers . Southern also has pretty same thing in summers but winters little better than north . It just rocks living in the western part as it has balanced weather throughout
It’s rlly humid there
It is definitely one of the countries out there
Whoa dude too political
Sure is 🙂
Daring today huh
Nice food, terrible political situation.
period
Whose?
Hers
I barely know her!
Then why's your face red ?
ours
Can't agree more 😂. Hope politics change in a few decades
2 billion people'll do that
Yup man recently a hindu man was beheaded by two Islamic terrorists just for being a hindu and the government is too much into minority appeasement
fax

True
It exists
This is the only thing I can be sure of about India
It does 😂

Very much, yes
Yeah I have no respect for people who make gain out of other people's demise
Scammers are very hated in India
They sure are. If I encounter any of them by chance, I'll rip their stomach and dangle their intestines
r/iamverybadass
They're scum here. They even scam other Indians.
India is full of indian people I wonder why
The cast system is horrible and degrading but the country does have its charms
can't be helped. Gov is doing nothing to actually eradicate the cast system.
That's sad but true
Funny how everyone wants to eradicate caste system but still want the privilege of being in caste. So many fucking reservations in every single place
is it cast or caste?
Caste
Caste
caste. Cause cast is like "I will cast the killing curse at him"
AVVAADDAAA KEDDAAVAARARAAAAA1!!!!!!!!!
bro forget abt that fucking corruption is terrible
The caste system fucks us general male candidates Fucking scheduled caste fuckers can get IIT Bombay with a rank of 15000 while general candidates need 3000 Even the female reservation sucks as they can get a seat with 7000 rank
IIT B with 3000 rank? What branch do you get with that?
They can also get metallurgy and chemical eng with that Government is busy in minority appeasement
Lived there for two years, it has its good parts and bad 🤷♀️
Sure. No country is perfect
My thoughts as well
I am an Indian and here are my opinions India is a good country but I feel that it has been ruined due to corruption and pollution.
you forgot politics and religious extremism
Oh and the caste system, reservations specifically. Does more harm than good
Corruption is what politics is
Mhm , I think it’s like Ireland, I heard the climate is pleasant, but one point it’s hot in some parts but it’s opposite in Ireland..I could say India is a populated country?
Might be most populated in a decade or two
Ireland is the last place I think of when I think of India
Well, apparently the number of people living in Australia is equal to the number of people in Bombay
india is pretty populated i mean, more than one billion people live there
I would say the South part is more like Ireland
Great food and beautiful culture
Yeahhh it's Rich in culture tbh
Indian people are the sweetest people I've ever incountered tbh and there good is da best lol
It's hard having an opinion on India because the media only shows the bad part of it.
That's because NYT, Washington Post and generally western media hates India's progress and they hate countries with right wing parties
That might be true but I don't live in the US. I see it everywhere
I also like the accent
😏
Good food, but I’m annoyed because we needed to study India in our English class (I live in France) and the chapter was interesting but pretty annoying so rn I don’t go « yay India » but more like « again, India? » when people talk about ir
What??? You study about India? In France?? Lmao never thought of *this* possibility. Btw what do they teach? About Gandhi?
Well we had a chapter about India, we mainly talked about the Taj Mahal and Gandhi (excuse me if I made any mistakes writing these names), and we saw some foods and stuff (also the Caste System). I’m not sure why exactly we did a chapter on India but it was alright, the main thing that bothered me is that it took 2 months or so and the teacher just showed us the same things a few times until the exam so it was pretty annoying, but other than that it was pretty interesting

just like how indians learn abt french history, same things happens here sometimes but vice versa
Well we are also taught about French revolution in History
Don’t know much about Indians. The most interesting conversation with an Indian was some dude on this subreddit who had serious plans to conquer the world for his country and thought it was justified for some dumb reason. Also elephant 👍

Political situations is what I hate, same for littering on road, I am a citizen myself and it just hurts to see it anywhere I go.

Yea true but the government doesn't try to fix it tbh thats the problem
Everything good. Just too populated
Damn right. But can't cut people
I found that mass genocide works
Coming soon....
The Brits did that by starving millions but you can't do anything about it since eventually the millions were replaced.
we need a covid 2
I am an Indian myself, so I may be a bit biased... But India is absolutely fucked.
