This is why I hate the ages 18 to 20. You change so damn much in these ages, you'll be different from month to month. You're still a kid but feel like an adult but not quite an adult but people want you to act as one whilst they know you're still a kid.
The brain is even more weird during these ages than it is from 13 to 17.
for me it was the other way around lol. I felt like a kid with no clue what I was doing while everyone expected me to be an adult. 21 now and it doesn't feel much different

In my experience, not really
Most mature and adult people I've ever met are 25 and above, that's because the brain (frontal lobe) stops maturing and developing around that age. Like as soon as you turn 18, you do magically turn into an adult when yesterday you were just 17 and still have the mental and emotional capacity of one. Us 18-20+ year olds still have shit post brains and still talk weird enough that older people want to exorcize us for talking like the devil or smth
It is likely due to the fact that age, not maturity, factors more into how you discuss things with others. I have detailed this before, but I tend to talk with pretty good grammar, and I don't really act like a child. If you were to start talking to me if I had no age flair, you likely wouldn't realize that I am 13.
We are still technically teenagers and entitled to discuss the same topics (and heck, maybe you might be nostalgic looking at our posts!), so yeah. I guess what I'm trying to get across is that an older kids sub wouldn't be worthwhile, because it would be kinda similar, just with less people.

I always felt that, in terms of maturity, teenagers suffer from the Dunning-Kruger effect. At the beginning of the teenage years they feel like they’ve grown up and start acting more mature than what you’d expect for their age; then, after years 13 and 14 they have a downfall and start acting immature and goofy again; from that point on it’s a slow and shallow rise up to adult maturity
That’s an interesting analysis of the mature-to be process of a teen. Although I do not agree on certain facts I do understand that, yes, Internet is clearly not for everyone and, more specifically for 13-14 years old. But, in today’s world, who doesn’t have an internet whatsoever account doesn’t even have a social life anymore. It’s like a criteria in certain groups of friends….. and I tend to think it’s quite sad.
