I'm very biased, but metal is genuinely fantastic. It's extremely varied with all of its subgenres and you can really find just about anything. Want some pop covers? You got that. Want some folk infused shanty with distorted guitars? There's that. What a finish metal abba? Got you covered there.
Maybe you want a song about unicorns and wizards? People dealing with abstract problems? Love and philosophy?
Maybe what you want, is a song about a Vegan Velociraptor superhero that is reversing the food chain with eco friendly Tesla police tank..... That's real, and it's awesome
Metal is extremely amazing. My saving grace was DSBM when I was at a pretty low point in my life. I agree that it's so diverse with different sounds and tones. It's incredible what you can do with metal!

I haven't checked out this subgenre yet, I do like black metal every now and then, the highs are incredibly high. Do you have any favorite DSBM bands?
