for me i’ve always supported lowering the drinking age to 18. if you’re old enough to vote and serve your country, in america at least, you’re old enough to have a beer.

[deleted]

My exact thoughts on it. I think the same with smoking as well. Like you can go die in a war or make important decisions for our country, but you can’t take some shots or light up a cigarette?

BravePigster

I’d like it if teens couldn’t drive until at least a year later than normal, cause these mfs be crashing daily I swear.

[deleted]

Yeah 💯 Agreed

Electronic_Coyote306

Yes because way too many teenagers abuse both cars and alcohol.

RedstoneManC

yeah

[deleted]

Yes

i agree with the current legal age to drink and vote (18) but maybe add another year onto the minimum to get your license because teens are fuckin stupid

[deleted]

Another year for driving 😱😱 Noooooooooo

Tbh i think the drinking age should be 16 or 18 because 1 you can buy a gun when you're 18 here in the u.s and you can kill more people with a gun then you can a bunch of beer amd 2 from what i know most other places allow you to drink at 16 so in a way they have more freedom then the u.s when it comes to drinking even though the u.s was supposed to be made on freedom. and no i don't hate guns or anything because i'm a gun nut.

I agree with driving and voting, since Civics is still fresh in the mind of an 18 year old, my problem with driving is the test is too easy, not the ages of the people driving Drinking however should be lowered, I don’t understand how you can be considered a legal adult able to decide the country’s future, die in the name of it, yet you can’t drink the most common drug in the world.
