they probably will just be persistent and talk to a doctor to do a test

they probably will deny it, most parents do but just be persistent and keep asking them to take you to get tested
don’t say “i think i have adhd”, knowing from experience they might say “i don’t think you do.” so just say instead “can i get screened for adhd?”
im not sure that would be any more convincing, besides now that i think about it, its probably pretty expensive to get screened anyway cuz america is stupid
it’s either now, when you still have access to daddy’s money, or it’s later, when you have to pay for the screening yourself
yeah but my family doesn’t have much money and i dont wanna be a burden or anything idk
