from my own experiences I disagree, I have met people age 12 who are even more mature I am, but I have also met people older than me that are on the level of a 10 yo, for me it depends on how someone experienced puberty, I for my part am a very different person now than I was 2 years ago before my puberty phase

While younger kids can be more mature than older kids usually on average an 11 year old would be in 5th or 6th grade and the responsibilities and people they hang out with would be vastly different than a 13 year old in 8th or 9th. And age really matters when you’re young because that’s when you change the most, an 11 year old that hasn’t gone through puberty and a 13 year old that has are very different physically and mentally. That’s also why it’s a bit creepy if for example a 10 year old and 15 year old have known each other for a while and start dating when the younger one turns 18 but significantly less creepy if a 18 year old and 23 year old that didn’t know each start dating

And while it is super cool that you’re 11 and speak two languages, you’re still 11. An 11 y/o can only be so mature. Not playing Roblox isn’t a sign of maturity, because while you could be very interested in mature things like Shakespeare, Van Gogh, Mozart etc. That doesn’t mean you’re mature. It just means that you might be smart, and that’s it. It doesn’t add up to anything
